How To Draw An Egg Shape – Spring is almost here, and that’s why many of you asked me to do a tutorial on how to draw Easter eggs. Easter is my favorite holiday, so this tutorial was definitely fun.
To draw the basic shape of your Easter egg, draw as perfect a circle as possible. On top of that circle, draw a triangle that should be the same height as the circle.

Remove the line that runs through the middle of your shape and you should be left with a nice looking egg.

As you can see, the line moves from the left side of the egg to the right. And to give the Easter egg a little more dimension, I’m going to draw a slightly wider line as they reach the other side of the egg.
Paint them the color you want. Traditionally, Easter eggs are pastel colors, such as light blue, pink, purple and green.
Once you have nailed your first Easter egg, repeat the previous steps and try new designs and colors.
To complete your Easter eggs, draw grass around them or draw on a basket to complete your Easter picture!
Accurately Quantifying The Shape Of Birds’ Eggs
If you want to design your own Easter eggs but don’t want to go through the trouble of trying to make the perfect egg, use the template on the left.
You can save the template by right-clicking on the image and clicking “Save As.” Print it and design your heart! Now you can draw the pattern that you want to decorate the Easter egg. I decided to go with a nice chunky swirl that forms a cute curl on top.
Next, for the second egg. Go ahead and draw another egg, but inside the vertical drawing, let it lean against your friend’s egg.
The color of the face is again, two oval eyes and a simple smile. Let this smile open.

Finally, draw some dots on this Easter egg or you can design whatever you want. If you made mistakes, delete them now.
