Puerto Rico Coloring Flag

Puerto Rico Coloring Flag – Each year, the United States recognizes Hispanic Heritage Month (or Latino Heritage Month) through various events and programs. It is a special time to honor the contributions of Latino or Hispanic people in the United States.

Every year from September 15 to October 15, Americans celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month by celebrating the history, cultures, and contributions of American citizens from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America. Started as Hispanic Heritage Week in 1968 under President Lyndon Johnson, it was extended to a 30-day period from September 15 to October 15 in 1988 by President Ronald Reagan. It was passed into law on August 17, 1988 after the approval of Public Law 100-402.–Hispanic Heritage Month.gov
