For the anatomy section, I’ll use a real-life section to show what the lips and mouth look like in real life, and then I’ll show you how to interpret them in different artistic styles. I encourage you to use your teeth as a guide in life, as I did in this episode. So let’s get into it.
The mouth is located at the bottom of our face and reaches the space between the upper and lower jaw. This position is also known as the buccal or oral cavity. The mouth consists of the lips, teeth, gums, and tongue, to name a few. These are the parts that are often drawn in the drawing, so I will focus on the parts.
Lips have many important elements that make up their shape, so they are easy to remember. I will first draw the lips from the front and then divide it into several steps.
1. Here are my lips. The horizontal line represents the line of the upper and lower lips. The central circle represents the central tubercle. I use a matching ruler to keep them level.

3. Then I draw a triangle at the bottom of the circle, and draw a line at the end of the lips. And here is the upper lip.
4. Next is the lower lip. Imagine the moon is crossed and is close to the lower lip.

1. I start with the midline, then immediately after, followed by the quadrilateral and half of the premolar.
2. This is a personal preference, I intend to draw the lines between the teeth so it doesn’t look bad.
Like lips, teeth are different. This can be due to age, tooth alignment, sometimes overlapping teeth or the presence of gaps.
A tooth is the tissue that covers the bone and teeth in the mouth. It helps to maintain teeth.

Last but not least, language. It is rectangular with dark edges. Unlike teeth and gums, the tongue is flexible. The tip can go up and down. The lower part of the tongue is clamped. Tongue varies in thickness, length and shape. It can rotate on a boring triangle.
