Draw the correct shape around the template or on the card. I used 12 cutouts for each decoration. Once cut, fold each in half.
Now glue the pieces together to create the decor. Take the first cutout and apply glue to the halves. Then do the same with the second cutout and glue them together. Continue this with all the cutouts and glue each one to the previous cut.
When all 12 cutouts are glued together, the last cut can be glued to the first to create the complete shape. If you want to hang the decoration on the tree, first apply glue to the inner “core” and glue the embroidery thread above the loop down. Then you can glue the two ends together. Press for a few seconds to make sure it is securely in place.
I made a few different shapes including mini Christmas trees, stars and classic baubles. I also made a larger tree perfect to sit on a table or display. It’s easy to make and you can create many variations!

To form each petal of the flower, first fold one corner as shown…
… Then fold the opposite corners so that the two sides overlap in the center and the rectangle is now tapered. Apply a small amount of hot glue to the point where the two parts overlap and secure it. Repeat this process until all the squares are folded.
Now cut a 2 inch circle from one of the pattern papers and mark the center with a pen.
Working with the smaller pieces, apply a line of hot glue to the outer edge of the circle piece and begin gluing the larger petal piece to the bottom of the circle, making sure the dots on each petal line up exactly with the marks on which you have drawn. before. Stage.

Continue working until all the larger petals are attached to the bottom of the circle. At the end of this process, there may not be room for the 14th petal, depending on how close the other petals are. It’s really ok.
Glue the smaller petals in the same way, just above the bottom layer of petals. Glue these smaller petals together and they will be staggered between the larger petals below.
Add a hanger to the ornament by cutting the ribbon to length and forming a loop. Use hot glue to attach the ends of the loops to the back of the ornament, and cover the ends of the glue and ribbon with another circle of punched paper to make it all look neat, if you like.
