Fallout 2 Map – I added a clean-reorganize tag to the main page after creating a template for it from the original cleanup template. The page itself is a bit cluttered with text pieces, and the images need to be embedded in the article and linked for most of them.
It may be possible to divide the page into sections based on the game being discussed, with thumbnails for each map in the appropriate section. All three maps should be rearranged into one map, there is a good one on the wiki here: 3 maps Bsdasym 19:03, January 4, 2009 (UTC)
Fallout 2 Map
Here are the new maps I made to show all the sites. I tried a different color scheme for each game but it had a terrible effect on the whole map so I tried the letter scheme. Tell me some ideas and/or points of error.
Conquering The Pile Of Shame, Week 2
Well, how about Iron Mountain, Alabama? Was Gecko terminal and Rocky Mountain Arsenal mentioned in the Boulder planning document? Cheyenne Mountain can be marked in T/V (a volcano on the Boulder Map). I have a new idea for the Bakersfield / Necropolis problem – it can be understood that they are two different places (of course under the circumstances there is nothing about Vault 12 that is connected with Necropolis in canonical sources; I hope I’m right about this) – DOTS 09:34, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
Lots of maps! Vault 12 is canonically considered a necropolis. It’s not explicitly mentioned, but it’s been widely reported and confirmed by the devs (why mention it, if not?). But it’s better to put Necropolis somewhere in the game, instead of where it’s supposed to be… Osir 16:27, June 8, 2008 (UTC)
Why would people say otherwise? – and tons of unfinished stuff; To be honest, this is a very powerful offering made by Vaults Holodisc; However, not all of Dev’s content is canonical; I agree that my proposal may sound strange, but it is a very simple solution to the Bakersfield/Necropolis problem; You can’t explain it differently (Buckerfield is probably old and it’s a recent story with him moving east — not what Ockham wanted)–DTS 05:25, June 9, 2008 ( UTC )
No, it’s amazing to describe it like that. It’s just a mistake and we have to accept it as such, like any other persistent mistake in games (the exception is in 1 itself). And if you continue to explain, why didn’t the guy who made the holodisc just mistake it and put Barstow and Bakersfield together? However, the simple solution is not to make far-reaching explanations, but simply to acknowledge that it is wrong. Osir 10:11, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
Warzone 2 Map Known
A Van Buren location on the map – New Jerusalem (Salt Lake City). Also, according to some FO3 information, Springvale is located in Chevy Chase, Maryland. Osir 10:54, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
IMHO, I think Necropolis is right next to Barstow and since we have a contract, I’ll move there! I’ll add some other website ideas as well, maybe this weekend. Daesch 21:08, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
The location of Broken Hills is incorrect – it is north of New Reno and south of Sad, not south of either. On the other hand, Raiders should be north of SAD and New Reno, and now it’s between them, where Broken Hills should be. For Necropolis, I asked Jason Anderson and he said to go with what was written (Bakersfield). Osir 22:24, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
Well, I can leave Necropolis instead of that. lol Broken Hills, I actually put it above the Broken Hills real life scene. It might not be Broken Hills like our world. What do you think? Daesh 22:56, June 9, 2008 (UTC)
Fallout 2 Klamath Google Earth By Mikeeu76 On Deviantart
Maybe say that mutants are not allowed on this thread and discuss there? It may have been moved on the map for gameplay purposes by someone who doesn’t know it’s a real world location, like Necropolis. Osir 23:05, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
Springvale cannot reach Chevy Chase because it is south of the Potomac (assuming the river never changed). A quick look at MA shows the closest real world location to McLean, Virginia. Funny, this is right down the street from the CIA. Headquartered in Langley, it doesn’t see the game. Wasn’t the Langley building built on the FO world? I think it might be helpful to expand the scope of the map to include “The Institute”, assuming this is a reference to MIT in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Lakia 12:21, 26 April 2009 (UTC)
How about integration, F2 and New Vegas are canonical. It was 2008 when Daesch made his debut. –DTS ( talk ) 10:33, 16 September 2012 (UTC)
Where on the map is FNV Big MT, The Divide and Sierra Madre Casino located? –DTS ( talk ) 13:39, 16 September 2012 (UTC)

So, on the first map, Necropolis is said to be where Bakersfield used to be, but it should be west of the Hub and Junktown somewhere east. The Lost Hills bunker where the officer lives is also not in the same place as Lost Hills in California. I’m just wondering why? — Unsigned comment added by Zepapi (talk • contributed) at 5:03 PM, October 9, 2019. Please mark your posts with ~~~~!

Hey guys, I have a question. The notes section shows some images for the size of the game’s map. How did the numbers come about? The volcanoes have covered a map of 4 by 9 sq km. Are people switching between virtual and real-world locations, or online and real-world locations? — Previously unedited comment added by 108.93.179.2 ( talk • contributed ) 16:33, July 16, 2020 Please mark your posts with ~~~~! Below is our friendly “World Map”. In the game, it shows all the public places that the characters can visit, but each character’s map also shows their tent locations, safe houses, etc. teacher You’ll find additional short-term locations on the map, such as checkpoints, where vehicles are parked, where someone has sent a radio distress signal or where people have set a fire trap.
The map is divided into sections, which are known as squares formed by horizontal and vertical lines. Each place has a number, such as 12:2 or 17:25. Specifying a location by its address is an obvious way to tell friends where you are. There are a number of specific points that can be used to point out an area that is insufficient. Mouse over the map to see both addresses and coordinates of the most detailed points on the map.

Click on an area below to go to that area’s specific page to read more information about it. The world is a dangerous place, and walking in it can lead to many bad encounters. So, no one is in trouble while traveling on the map. However, you are safe as long as you stay on the map.
Note: Some public areas are not shown here. (This is an old map photo.) Enjoy seeing this:
Note: While walking on the map, you can press the home button on your keyboard to set your mode.
