Youth Bulletin Board Ideas Church

Youth Bulletin Board Ideas Church – I like to create and I like to make things more beautiful and interesting. One thing I love… is combining bulletin boards to make them more functional, visually appealing and useful! I had been in my hall for 4 years, I had walked past our bulletin board every Sunday and before finally I asked the bishop if I could redo our bulletin board.

The thing about bulletin boards is that it’s a labor of love, it has to be updated from time to time and if there isn’t someone assigned to it or volunteers for it… it’s forgotten. You make me so sad! I want to redo ALL the forgotten bulletin boards! This can be difficult because the wards are constantly changing, members come and go, children go from Kindergarten to Primary to YM & YW, babies are born etc so it can be a lot of work but you can do the -your board works for you/your hall and update it as much as you want!

This board was my first attempt at a project like this, so I learned how much work it can be, I don’t know if it’s a calling… because I volunteered. But it should be! I was a journalist in high school and felt somewhat similar in this “self-proclaimed job” as I kept in touch with the department officer to see what new members we had, who had birthdays, and then I kept in touch as well with the officers of the department. Compassionate Service Committee for new babies in the ward, etc. Lots of tracking if you want to keep this kind of information on your dashboard!

Look To Him And Be Radiant: Give Thanks Bulletin Board

First, I took pictures of our old board, determined what information I wanted on there, then did extensive research on Pinterest for cute ideas, and then used my iPad to make a visual board of what I wanted the board to look like . Then I started gathering supplies from the Dollar Store and designing the things I wanted to add. I recommend making sure you have pins and a stapler that opens. I used blue tape from the dollar store I thought it would be easy to swap out the pictures but using a stapler would be better, the tape stays behind and ruins your background.

I wanted to post a big calendar so we could post all the activities for the whole month for each organization. Also the schedule Follow Me! The calendar was from Target for about $8.00. I used parchment paper from the Dollar Store to give it a neutral background look and then I got white tissue paper from the Dollar Store and these awesome fringe scissors from Target for $3 for the fun border. I just wrote right on the paper at the top the name of our ward “Geneva Heights 7th Ward”.

On the left side I made a cute sheet that said “take what you need” and had some words like “charity”, “faith”, “love” etc. I thought it was a fun play on pop culture using this kind of pop-up to sell things, but in a way that made our board interactive for ALL ages and genders. That was one thing I really wanted to try to do is to make this board INTERACTIVE and engaging for EVERYONE. This section is closest to the Bishops gate and a lot of people are here waiting, so I thought it would be fun if they could have something to look at AND interact with. So I also created a word search that I saved at the Dollar Store (the document size so you don’t have to cut down the print). This makes it a dry erase, so then put a dry erase mark on the string and some rag on the string to wipe it off when they are done. A dry erase marker should be replaced every few months, but you can get a pack of 3 for $1 at the Dollar Store. And finally in this section I put an envelope marked “take a printout”. I’ve put together images that match this month’s holiday, but can be used for many things. I thought it would be fun to do something for General Conference, a little coloring sheet that people can grab for communion can be used for so many things!

As mentioned above, the calendar is the “hub” of the dashboard so we can advertise all the department’s activities and keep everyone informed. I enjoyed promoting the activities of the youth, the elementary, and the Relief Society in this calendar. I also informed people about our area cleanup, stake conference, general conference, whether it was a combined day or RS Quorum/Elders or Sunday School. It’s so fun to use different colored markers and stickers that I get from the Dollar Store to make it colorful and fun to look at! Under the calendar I had a header called “Church News” where we could post pre-made flyers from the church.

Printspiration: 5 Easy & Time Saving Young Women Bulletin Board Tips For You

To the right of the main bulletin board section I had a spotlight section. This section includes ‘mini members’ (new babies), ‘birthdays’, ‘mice’ and ‘new members’. This is the part of the board that you can decide if you want to stick with. I think it makes members feel important and cared for, but it can be hard to update. As previously mentioned, you can contact the individual secretary and the Charity Services Committee to collect this information each month to keep you up to date. I have also put some information in the bottom corner which includes our halls Facebook page, contact information for key hall leadership members and some useful apps. I love using my iPad and the Procreate app to write on the baby images all their “birth info”!

I divided the board into 3 sections and in the upper right corner I made a fun visual with “how to grow your testimony” and designed some plants that say “tithe”, “attend temple”, “reaq scriptures”, “attend meetings” , & “prayer”. I used black poster board from the Dollar Store to put on the back and I also found the cute cactus border at the Dollar Store.

Finally, in the third section of the board on the lower right, put a section for all the different organizations in the area. I used a white poster from the Dollar Store and a star frame I picked up there as well. This is another area that I thought members of the area would be happy to see their children and themselves. I hope that this will encourage them to see how much we enjoy our activities and attend our meetings and activities and be/feel involved! I used an app called “Becky Higgins” to design the pages, it has a template that is super easy and cute to use. I also use this for my personal scrapbooking. I believe it is about $3, but it is so worth it! There are other collage apps that you can use to create this section. I printed them as 8 × 8. You can ask different organizations to send you photos to put together the most recent event!

Hi, I’m Chana, full-time mom, graphic designer, DIY and party planner. I like to get bored in everything and let creativity take me where it wants, I don’t like to limit myself to one area. I enjoy selling things in my Etsy shop and Marketplaces, I enjoy writing, blogging and sometimes making YouTube videos. I have many interests and I don’t like to put myself in a box, so what you will see here can be a mix of life, parties, DIY projects and whatever I want. Just kind of an outlet for me, and if you’re lucky enough to find this little part of the internet, then you can follow along for the ride! When I created the first church youth group board, it was 1988. We were still using a printer that created “graphics” by grouping dots into shapes and letters. The printer paper had to be cut from the feed belts before our banners and signs went on
