A cursive capital E is easy to write, just like the number three except reversed. . The lowercase e is almost identical to the handwritten lowercase e.

The uppercase cursive letter E in italics is a special case when considering its connectors. Unlike some other capital italic letters of the alphabet, it does not connect with other letters when it begins a word, phrase or sentence.

Cursive Handwriting Practice Capital Letter E

As you can see in the diagram (above), start the capital E at the top of the line you are writing on. Then move the pen or pencil to the left, creating a hump at the back. Return the stroke to the middle of the line, then move outward and repeat the first step for the bottom half of the letter.

The lowercase e is the same as the handwritten lowercase e. You want to start your stroke on the center line, making a small loop, up and around. Either complete a letter by moving the tail of the letter to the right or connect it to your next letter.
