Venn Diagram Outline – Venn diagrams are one of the most common graphic organizers. They represent the relationship between two objects in two (or three or more) intersecting circles. Venn diagrams are often used in assessment to measure students’ ability to express the “SVBAT compare and contrast” learning objective. They are also great reading and note taking tools.
Venn Diagram: This is the most popular way to compare two topics. Two intersecting circles are labeled according to two themes. Students list the similarities in the midpoints between the intersection of the two circles and the differences in the segments of the circles that do not intersect.

Triple Venn Diagram: Similar to a Venn diagram, which compares two subjects, a Triple Venn diagram compares three subjects with similarities between all three subjects in the center of all three circles and similarities between the A double subject is the intersection between two circles. There are differences in the part of each circle that is different from the others.

The easiest way to make a Venn diagram is to have students make one themselves. Just have them draw two large intersecting circles on a blank sheet of paper.
Students tend to draw these circles too small, so remind them to use the entire sheet of paper for the circles.
You can also create Venn diagrams in Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint. You can use the SmartArt that comes with the programs or create a Venn diagram yourself.
The key steps in creating Venn diagrams in PowerPoint and Word are two important changes:

In PowerPoint, you can right-click on circles and “Save as Picture…” to use them in other ways.
Venn diagrams should be a staple in every classroom. These graphic organizers encourage critical thinking, challenging students to compare and contrast. They are easy to make and powerful to use.

I created this Venn diagram template to use with the Guess My Law cards, but it can be used in many different ways in the math classroom.
A few weeks ago, I was afraid that the lesson I had planned on Venn diagrams wouldn’t last the full 50 minutes. I’m really trying to think of an extra activity we can do that will expand my students’ understanding.
Then I remembered that I had a deck of laminated cards in three different colors and three different sizes in my closet.
I decided to take some of my 11 x 17 card stock and print the Venn diagram template on it.
Venn Diagram Template In Different Segments
I removed each piece of card stock into one of my 11 x 17 dry bags. If you want to save some money, you can also buy a pack of 11 x 17 sheet protectors for a lot less! They won’t be as straight, but students can still write and erase with their dry erase markers.
Although I was worried that I would run out of time and need additional activities, the lesson I planned turned out to be a whole class.
So, I never use this with my students. However, I thought I should still share it in case it might inspire someone else. If you want to give a great presentation, using diagrams is great because they make your data better and help your audience understand your points.
In this tutorial, we’ll teach you how to create Venn Diagrams in Google Slides so you can have them in your resource bag!

Venn diagrams are infographics that are primarily used to represent an organized process, in other words, they are used to show the picture as the combination of one or more elements of closed lines will be, in the order of the There is an element of each group among them.
Circles or ovals are used for this representation, clustered in an area called “intersection” that represents overlapping elements between two or more elements within the same “world”.
Therefore, they are used to explain the context between different elements, which is very useful in business presentations or presentations related to the fields of mathematics, computing or calculations.
Venn diagrams are named after the British mathematician John Venn’s publication in 1880. His work is entitled “On the Diagrammatic and Mechanical Representation of Propositions and Reasoning,” in which he made a system of representation that is still used today.

John Wen succeeded in creating a simple method of representative systems that were previously used for the organizational process. His theory took as a starting point the “Eulerian circles”, the diagrams established by the mathematician Leonard Euler.
In the following decades, many scientists developed the theory further. After Clarence Irving Lewis’s book “A Study of Symbolic Logic”, published in 1918, the term “Venn diagrams” began to be used in academic circles.
To properly understand Venn diagrams, you need to know the name of each of the components that make up the diagram:
Creating your own Venn diagram is quite simple and only takes a few minutes. To begin, click Insert > Shape > Shapes and select “Oval”. Now click and drag to create the shape. Then make another one and place a little on top of the other.

You can change the fill color and border color using the respective options on the top bar. We recommend that you use tones that are already in your presentation palette.
When you’re done, apply some transparency to the circles so that their cross section is visible. To access the Display slider, click “Paint Color” and then the “+” button under “Custom.”
Now insert multiple text boxes by clicking Insert > Text Box. Then click and drag where you want it to be and finally click the text. After that you can change the font, size and color:
Alternatively, you may want to use icons, as they are more visual. The templates contain slides filled with additional resources and icons that you are free to use in your presentations. Just select the symbol you want to use, copy it by pressing Ctrl + C (or Cmd + C), then go to the slide where the image is and press Ctrl + V (or Cmd + V) to paste. Here is an example:

A survey is a technique used by conducting a questionnaire on a significant sample of a group of people. When we do a research, we start from a hypothesis and this research work will allow us to confirm the hypothesis or to see where the problem and solution of what we are investigating is false. We know: field work is hard work. Many hours of data collection, analysis and organization until we received the results of the survey. Well, we don’t want to discourage you (we stand for positivism), but this is only 50% of the research work….
