Knowing that the official “love” holiday is right around the corner, I decided to print some free Valentine Treat Bag Toppers to use for the kids’ classroom party. Here are some really cute and easy Valentine’s Day bag covers that you can print and use for your child’s Valentine’s Day party. The best part is that you don’t even have to leave your house! It’s very cold outside and I might as well stay at home when it’s that cold. LOL 😉
Grab yourself some ziplock snack bags (generic is fine) and add a goldfish and have fun with the kids making these Valentine’s Day Bag Toppers! Goldfish are perfect for a leisurely Valentine’s Day, or you can use some of these sweet gummy fish to stuff them for a sweet snack as well. I tend to gravitate more towards the goldfish. Less candy is always better for little teeth, and my youngest tends to go a little crazy with too much sugar.

We love making Valentine’s Day bag toppers instead of traditional Valentine’s cards. They just add a special touch to things and are a fun and easy way to spend time with the kids! I know it’s a little early for Valentine’s Day, but they start their first semester final exams on Monday and I think they could use some chocolate to make up for the study sessions.

This is a great thing to know because you can make them for birthday parties or any time you want to give something small.
Layered bag tops can be made quickly and easily, without the need for an experienced computer graphic artist or the purchase of a special program. This can be done online using a free program.
I used aver.com to make the treat bag covers. This is a company that makes great label sheets that you can buy in stores. But here’s a little secret… you don’t have to buy label sheets. You can use their design and print option to design your own flyers and then print the flyers at home on your home computer on white card and cut them out yourself.
5. You will now see the Bag Toppers theme menu. Use any theme you like or click “Blank” to create your own. If you choose to create your own, you can play with fonts and images.

Today we have both! We’ve printed some cute free Valentine’s Day toners to make for friends and family. These are especially great for a simple school Valentine, but they’re also great for gifting to friends! If you don’t know what a treat topper is, it’s basically a plastic bag filled with treats and “covered” with a patterned paper covering.
Find a design you like, print it on card stock and cut it out. Grab a bag and fill it with whatever your heart desires. Then take out the cut top and fold it over the top of the bag and place it on the table at least 2 times. Really great! You have a treat bag with a beautiful topper!

Valentine’s Day is a fun holiday for children. They love it because they get lots of free candy and do things. They really haven’t had their hearts broken or been single for the holidays when everyone else is spoiled, showered with roses, or in love.

So why not let them enjoy this holiday to the fullest while it’s still fun. Most kids in America participate in some sort of swap on Valentine’s Day, so I decided to make DIY printable bag covers for families with crazy kids who don’t want to buy cards this year.
I wanted to make sure I made equally cool prints for both boys and girls, so I made this with a camouflage pattern that the boys can color with brown, black and green if they want. Oh, and some of the artwork looks a little like slime. Just covering my “boy” bases here. I also made one that said “Best Friends” because all those silly card words don’t apply to life when you’re in elementary school. Anyway, I hope you print what you want and have fun with it!
