Turkey Disguise Template – Looking for fun and inexpensive Thanksgiving themed activities? Anything other than eating, that is? 😉 Look no further than these three turkey masking templates!

Aside from eating and spending time with loved ones, Thanksgiving doesn’t really have any traditional activities. (Not that I’m throwing these two things away… I love enjoying delicious holiday meals while hanging out with family!) Think about it; Halloween includes carving jack-o-lanterns, Easter coloring and egg hunts, and making Christmas cookies. Maybe it’s time to come up with something for turkey day, and I think masking turkey activity might do the trick!

How a turkey mask works like this – you download a printable turkey mask disassembled, decorate it, cut out the pieces and then assemble it. Then you can strategically place your masked turkey in fun spots around the house for your kids or guests to see. It’s like the whole Elf on the Shelf concept, but instead of keeping an eye on your kid, this turkey is just trying to get away from the dinner table! 🙂

A New Name & A Turkey Freebie!

You can either surprise your kid with these turkey masking templates, already finished and ready to find, or keep those little hands entertained by enlisting their help. If you opt for safety scissors and a glue stick, this masking turkey activity requires only a moderate level of supervision. (Depends on the age of your child, of course.)

Below you’ll find three worthwhile (not free) turkey masking printables – a cop, a snowman, and a Santa. However, if you don’t like those masks, you can download these free printable turkey templates and challenge your child to make their own mask. For example, add a pair of glasses, a fake mustache color or even something wild! (With this option, you don’t even need scissors or glue if you’re pressed for time.)

Maybe if he dresses up as a cop, this turkey will convince you that it’s illegal to serve him at dinner? That’s the plan for this How to Mask Turkey project! Unfortunately, there’s nothing he can do to hide those shiny tail feathers. 😉
