His drawings are appropriate for his age but he doesn’t really like to write, let alone take notes.

On this particular day he asked me to write something for him and I wanted to encourage him to write for himself. I never tired of writing for him, and I gave him some.

However, he is one of those kids who refuses to try things that he thinks are not good. I think he needs a guide to give him the confidence to start.
So, I tried to turn the tables on him and make him think about what he told me to think about. He tells me “I don’t know how to write ____________” for almost everything.
I tried to encourage him by making him break things down. For example: a tree. I will ask you what are the parts of a tree and we will break it down and write each part (trunk, branch, leaf) one by one, thinking about the general shape of each part.
Thinking about drawing I decided to make pages to help him work on fine motor skills especially drawing patterns. You know all your patterns and these books are intended to produce unknown patterns.

Don’t worry, we still have a lot of free time in practice so I let him go his own way but I want to help him to improve this area intellectually because when it comes time to be creative be creative. . have some faith.
