One of my favorite things I did was find a bunch of designs that were in the public domain and then adapt them to my specific project.

I ended up using this kit so I wanted to share my love with you all so that you can get as many useful items as I do for various projects.
In my experience with templates, templates are not right for every project. It’s the pattern material you use, what media, and the overall size of the project that makes a big difference. It also makes a difference whether you cut these patterns by hand or with a cutting machine.
From home decor fabric patterns to cake and cookie patterns, I’ve used these patterns on a variety of materials. I have also cut these stencils on a variety of stencil materials, from mylar sheets to contact paper to vinyl.

Some of these designs are easy to cut out by hand or with an Exacto knife, but the world of patterns really opens up with a cutting machine. You get much more precise cuts and it can handle complex designs. Everything will be faster 🙂

I love to decorate my home, especially throw pillows. I don’t know why, but pillowcases are expensive.
This is a fun fabric pattern to make decorative floral pillows. For this particular project I used vinyl as my stencil material. There were some intricate designs around the hibiscus flower, so I needed something that stuck to the fabric to minimize bleeding.

I recommend vinyl, transfer tape, or something sticky for fabric stenciling. The only problem is that it’s not reusable, so you have to make a new stencil every time you make a new project so you don’t miss unnecessary paint.
Sometimes I want something less complicated because I paint with a stencil that doesn’t work with complicated designs.
That’s exactly what happened with these template cookies. I saw all the wonderful cookies other people made and wanted to know how to make them. Here’s a tutorial on how to create a reusable cookie template.
For this project I used food grade mylar sheets. I assumed that since I did not heat the sample, BPA transmission would be minimized. However, I will admit that this is not the most interesting sample project. I have yet to find a medium that works well for stenciling food. I have tried spray food coloring and different frosting recipes. The problem is really bleeding with a reusable template. It’s not really possible to use vinyl on cookies.

I wanted to draw something but didn’t have the skills so I made a flower design and turned it into a flower monogram wreath photo template. If you want to do something similar, check out my canvas stenciling tutorial.
Here I layered different patterns to create a multi-colored monogram wreath. It looks a little washed out in the picture, but it’s actually quite cute. I think I paint everything I make by hand… just with a stencil 🙂

There are several ways to make a stencil on canvas. In this tutorial I will show you 2 ways depending on the complexity of your design. I used matte acrylic chalk paint for the background and then metallic acrylic paint for the design.

All of these flower patterns are printable. Simple daisy patterns can be cut by hand, but I would recommend a die-cut machine for more complex designs.
You can also use these flower patterns for drawing. For example, you can paint colorful backgrounds on walls and furniture. It is ideal for those who love gardening and the outdoors.
You can also use these templates to get a modern or retro look. In this way, you can create a decor that suits you or your friend’s taste. To get started, you can download templates for free from my resource library. When we first make the patterns, we actually need to cut wider and larger. Because we can move our hands easily, there are many spaces like pattern holes. The more space, the easier it is. Therefore, larger specimens are more recommended for flowers.
2. Prepare the following: a sheet of paper (or other object with a flat surface), paint, palette, large flower stencils and a short and stiff brush or sponge, and glue.

3. Place the large flower patterns on the surface and glue them. It can still be easily cleaned.
4. Brush or sponge the paint over the paint. Do not tap too hard as this will cause bleeding.
We can choose metal plate for strength and durability or paper for cheap and light material. However, it is a normal template material
. This material is flexible. It is also very durable and easy to wash. Metal plates are hard. It is more difficult to remove the painting after it is finished. Paper is very flexible. However, they don’t last long. They break easily. If the paint accidentally falls, it will tear the paper.

The best bet is to wait for the painting to dry. The main reason for this is that we sometimes make mistakes when removing a template. For example, it doesn’t clean perfectly or our hands accidentally slip. When the residue on the stencil is still wet, it can contaminate the resulting stencil. Then, if we can’t lift the pattern perfectly, we tend to drag the pattern result. This can also distort the results.
