For all mothers, artists, children, and everyone who likes to look out the window at a winter wonderland!
I hope you enjoy these stencils as much as I do. We currently use it as tracing paper in our house, but I can imagine many different uses for it (like sewing stitches and sewing machines).
I have plans to use these snow patterns for various indoor activities on cold days and for my craft projects.
All mysnowflakes designs, large and small, are printed on full 8.5′ x 11″ paper.
How To Make Paper Snowflakes
To download one of them, just click on the image to download the file in PDF format and save it to your computer.
The first important thing is that you can draw simple curves and lines that you can easily cut.
Because each end has a circle at the end, you can easily pierce one of them and make jewelry!
My mother-in-law and mother-in-law do crafts together like this to keep their toes “warm”. 🙂
Printable Snowflake Template
At Christmas time, I think it would be nice to have some of these snowflakes in a small format to attach to gifts.
I’m sure the kids will also love putting them in different sizes for craft projects. My old LOVES tracking. And these little snow patterns for him.
The first sheet has 5 snowflakes for easy tracing, and the second is a set of 9 small snowflakes in circles (for making stickers, gift tags, etc.).
I left these papers black and white because the idea is that your kids can draw stickers or gift tags to personalize them. But you can also print these on card stock for a nice look.
How To Make Animal Paper Snowflakes
This is a small set of shapes that you can use to draw patterns on cards or any other project.
These are smaller than the ones above – I like to put them on different colored papers and cut multiple layers at once!
While I’m a big fan of the new snow styles these days, my kids are drawn to the fun shapes and details.
Here are 3 snow overviews with lots of details. I don’t try these things (it’s too bad!); however, I think these are just observations. But I was wrong about this.

Random fact – the snowflakes looked just like these metal stars my brother had when we were kids.
If you have a large marker, you can draw this whole pattern in a few strokes! I love it.
I feel like there are still snowballs in the world…that I can see before they quickly melt.
I really like this because it fits better than the whole paper when printed.
Free Printable Snowflake Template
This is similar to the one above, but it’s easier because it doesn’t have extra points on it.
I love this type of snow because it is so beautiful! The pattern resembles a spider web.

I recommend printing them on heavy card stock if you are using these snow trucks as stencils for painting or drawing. Cardstock is stronger and lasts better when you use snow as a tool!
