Sleigh Cut Out – A Christmas sleigh or Santa’s sleigh is a sleigh with which Santa Claus travels around the world with gifts for children. In stories and movies, we often see Santa carrying a red car. This is logical, as the color red is often associated with Christmas. Santa also loves the color red, so he wears a red suit. It makes sense if she chooses to wear red. Red also fills the tempo of the thigh. Because speeding vehicles often have red lights. You can find these things on sports cars and superheroes like the Flash. However, this does not mean that this is the only way to paint them. If you are planning or making your own Christmas, you can color it as you like with yellow, green or even red and holographic paint.
Paper Christmas decorations are a bit more complicated than other Christmas decorations. Or you can do it yourself with a Christmas pattern. You can find templates online. Download and resize before printing. After you print it, place it on the paper you will be using. You can use paper in the color of your choice, such as red or green, or you can use white paper and color it later. Cut out the following template as a guide. If you are using white paper, color it after cutting. It will be easier to draw each part of the thigh before putting it together. Once you have painted all the parts of the pattern, you can now assemble the tub. Some templates come with parts so you can assemble the parts into one piece, but if not, you can assemble them with glue. When finished, you can add embellishments such as stars and other patterns to the lapel.

So guess who joined the turkey in the oven? Thanks for your tips on cooking squirrels, I’m happy to say we’ve come up with some great ideas! You never bother taking all the oil and smearing it on anything, do you? (Of course, grandma came and everything happened anyway).
Well, after a week I’ve been so busy cooking and cleaning that I haven’t had a chance to post the nice thank you note I usually do. May I continue to wish you a belated but happy Thanksgiving? We’ve definitely seen the end of Momplex, haven’t we?
And today we have a great plan for you. Does your family do “Elf on the Shelf?” It usually starts after Thanksgiving, but there’s still time if not! My friend Rebecca wrote to me that her family started Elf on the Shelf this year and wanted to build an Elf tree. And he wanted to share the plan with you!

This year we are introducing an elf to the Christmas family. I love traditions and fun things to do with my kids. I had everything planned out and was looking for a nice and unique way for the elf to come to our house. My mom had Santa ornaments that I loved growing up. It looks great with a little Santa in it and some wrapped presents. I knew I wanted to do it if I could. I was going to do this in person, but thought I’d email Ana and see if she wanted to make a plan that everyone would enjoy. He is amazing and he did it so fast.
The process is very quick, but sanding is required to get the details looking good and clean. I finished this with a jigsaw, but some of the corners are tight. It can be easier with a found group. Everything is wooden, but I painted the “legs” with metallic paint. I think it’s a very nice scent and I like it. It’s perfect for my elf or for about 25 days if Christmas is hidden. Or it smells better with 5 months less!
It’s Rebecca! And by the way, please, thank you so much Rebecca for sharing the program with you! Thanks Rebecca!

NOTE: If you don’t have a miter saw, you can pre-cut these edges – you won’t see a difference on the outside, and the inside won’t fit perfectly)
Please read all directions and instructions before starting this project. It’s also a good idea to check out the Getting Started section. Take all necessary steps to build safely and efficiently. Work on a clean surface, free of stains or residue. Always use flat boards. Look at the square after each step. Always prepare a hole before connecting cables. Use glue and finish nails for strength. Wipe off excess glue from bare wood on stained projects, as dry glue will not hold the stain. Be safe, have fun and ask for help if you need it. Best of luck!
Start by printing out this pattern and tracing it onto your 1×12. You don’t need to cut them, you can use a ballpoint pen on paper, press hard. It will leave a small dent in the wood.
Set the printer to print the correct size. You can also use the PDF (above) to print if that suits you. If you don’t have a printer, I’ve also included Rebecca’s wooden diagram at the end of this program that you can use to draw.

A few tips – try using a drill bit the size of the jigsaw blade to drill a hole at least where you start and end so you just have to connect the dots with the jigsaw. Use a clamp to hold the panel down. Just walk slowly and stop when driving.
The most important thing with a jigsaw is to just go slow, make sure the blade isn’t bent, and use the right blade. Here’s a short video I put together of the puzzle:
Once you see both sides, it’s easy from there. Add a bottom that needs to be adjusted first to open the legs. You can use nails, a screwdriver or a Kreg Jig – it’s up to you. If using nails, use glue.
I took the top part for illustration only.
