Free Printable Rainbow Coloring Pages For Kids
When my children were small, we did not have much money to save. I remember my first child’s first Christmas and we had a “$10 Christmas”. We didn’t really get to buy Christmas presents that year because I quit my job to stay at home and I wasn’t very good at reading.
As a parent of three children, I counted Christmas presents for a few days before the big day and panicked when I realized the countdown was over. Santa brought child #1 three presents and child #3 seven. The gloves are a spectacular failure (certainly not by me), and a creative read at that
As our aging parents, siblings, uncles, parents, and elderly family friends age, gift needs and wants vary. They may not spy as much as they used to. Physical abilities and interests change with age. But older people still like to see us and/or get gifts to let them know we miss them. What better way to spend time at home than by coloring? Whether you’re trying to keep the kids entertained, or you’re looking for an activity to calm yourself down, coloring is something everyone enjoys.
Apart from using all the colors (or any color you can imagine), the rainbow has always been a symbol of hope. Because it appears when the sun goes down in the rain. All over the world, people are creating rainbows and watching them from their windows as they practice social distancing for medical workers, essential workers and walkers. It’s a sign of hope, a fun game (find them all!) tied together.

What is a rainbow? A colorful phenomenon seen in the sky after rain. Rainbows are caused by water droplets in the atmosphere reflecting light. Different colors are caused by different wavelengths. Red has the longest wavelength and violet the shortest. Most rainbows are arcs, but they can also be circles or crescents. They can be full or partial depending on how bright the sun is. No matter what form it takes, rainbows always bring joy to people’s hearts. So the next time you see one, take a moment to appreciate its beauty!
About the colors… If you want to color the rainbow in the order it is in the sky, follow this easy guide: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. Remember this gentleman’s name is ROY G. BIV and you will always remember the order of the colors of the rainbow!
