Preschool Teacher Thank You Wording – This week is Teacher Appreciation Week at my older child’s school. And as we discussed last week, the countdown continues until school is officially over! So it’s a good time to stop and thank your children’s teachers.
And we have a lot to be thankful for. Our kindergarten teacher for babies is an amazing person (like all kindergarten teachers for babies, toddlers and preschoolers that I had the pleasure of knowing). They fed my baby and changed the dumbest diapers and made him feel loved even though he couldn’t be home with me. They help train older children, they put a dozen toddlers to sleep at once (it seems like magic to me), they help with booing, cuddling and reading about a million books. They let kids do amazing play-based learning activities like exploring Good and planting seeds that grow into strawberry plants.

My older child’s teacher was no better. My daughter’s kindergarten teacher was assigned to entertain twenty small children during the school day. Can you imagine how much patience and empathy this woman has in her DNA? He is expected to teach five- and six-year-old children to read and do addition and subtraction and to write and hold a pencil correctly.

, and taught them to sing some French songs. He also asked them to learn the alphabet in sign language. She brought a special theater curriculum to the class, and introduced some beautiful traditions: on our child’s birthday, other children in the class are invited to stand up and say something nice about the birthday person. My daughter has never looked happier and prouder than when her classmates took turns telling her she was cute and ran fast and that they loved her.
My son’s second grade teacher is also amazing. Do you spend significant time with your eight-year-old? they
. Never. And he wrangled twenty-one of them over the course of the year, teaching them basic multiplication and grammar and how to write a real paragraph.
Ways To Say
She loves classical music, and keeps an upright piano in her classroom. She plays them Bach to help them concentrate as they work independently at their desks, and prepares songs to help them remember some strange grammatical rules of our strange English language. He really cares about seeing his “boy” succeed.
I could go on all day. I can entertain you with the story of my son’s kindergarten teacher wearing his title (yes, my son has a kindergarten teacher, and he is one of the nicest people I have ever met) to school my son’s week. Win
A guard, so my son doesn’t feel alone or different. I can tell you about my daughter’s kindergarten teacher – who thinks my daughter is over the moon – who remembers every detail about my daughter, and who regularly checks in with me to make sure her ballet and swimming lessons are going well.
Teacher Appreciation Week Is Here: Write A Thank You Note! (updated) — Parentsquare Blog
All of this is a very long way of saying we should write more thank you letters. To that end – and as promised last week – we’ve created a free printable! Take five minutes to print our letter and write your child’s answers (or ask them to write their own if they are older).
It’s the least we can do for those who give so much of themselves to our children and families. Thank You Note To Teacher
This post is sponsored by Crayola as part of their influencer activation for Major Impact and all opinions expressed in my post are my own.
This may be the most nerve-wracking week of the year. This week our school district sent out an email blast announcing classroom teachers. Last year was our first try with this, when my oldest started Kindergarten. We got a name in the mail, a date for bus orientation, and I watched her walk down the hall on the first day of school, trusting a girl I’d never met to make the most amazing impact. to begin his educational journey. No amount of thanks is enough to pay her back…but with the help of Crayola’s Teacher Thank You Contest, I sure will try!
There is no way to respond to the amazing teachers out there. who love and care for our babies as if they were their own. who often have a greater tolerance for thirst for knowledge and enthusiasm than we do as parents. And when my oldest daughter entered kindergarten last year, her teacher had big shoes to fill.
Thank You Note To Teacher From Parent & Thank You Letter To Teacher
My mother is a retired kindergarten teacher. I spent the year watching him prepare for the start of each school year as if it was his first; His passion in the light of the fire to study in a new room full of thoughts is a little more alive with each passing year. I know what a great kindergartner is.
His teacher, Mrs. Peterson, filled those big shoes. He “got” my boy. She challenged him academically, encouraged and supported him emotionally, and helped him strengthen through his anxiety and fear of making mistakes. I was amazed at how much she grew in one year. He likes to go to kindergarten and stop? He likes to study.
At the end of the school year, he wrote a sweet thank you letter to his teacher. And when she gave it to him, I was surprised by what the teacher answered. No gift was more important to her than the handwritten notes she received from her students, and Aisha kept them all.

This week we are going through a nerve wracking week waiting for the teacher’s assignment in the classroom. We were so excited to find out that my second daughter will be a Mrs. Peterson for Kindergarten this year as well! In an instant, all his nerves were removed from the school. And my oldest? He couldn’t wait to write back thanks for the old teacher he sent to school with his sister.
This time, I entered a handwritten thank you note to her teacher for the Crayola Teacher Thank You Contest. Upload your child’s handwritten thank you letter by 8/25 and you’ll also be entered to win the Crayola Thank A Teacher contest! You can even have Crayola email your child’s teacher as well.

In addition, there will be a weekly raffle at the end of the contest, with a chance to win a $500 gift card for registrants and their teachers. Don’t miss the deadline – the competition ends on Saturday, August 25th!
I still remember many of my teachers who made my academic experience even decades later. Does your child have a teacher who made a difference in his life? At my daughter’s school, they have a theme for every Teacher Appreciation Sunday. And as a room mom, it’s my job to take this issue and celebrate our teachers. It’s a fun challenge, and I love coming up with teacher gift ideas for my daughter’s wonderful teacher. My favorite so far is the Thank You Teacher Free Printable I created for the kids to fill out. It would also make a great gift for a teacher at the end of the school year.
As you can see, some are very simple while others allow for more creativity. My favorite days are less specific. Be sure to check out the vase of crayons I made for Valentine’s Day, each child will bring a flower to fill the vase.
The Primary School Pta Thanks You! « First Impressions
To start the week strong, I decided on two projects for the students. The first is a framed class photo with signatures of all the children. Connecting is easy. I was asked for class time last week and every kid visited me in the signing mat design room. Then I added all the children’s names and the years to the photos I took on the class trip (text b
