Skin? I was amazed at how easy it was. Make sure the fabric you buy is fleece. Fleece is SO forgiving.
Peter Pan Shoe Pattern
Supplies: blue fleece (I bought 2 and have extra), large prototyping paper, sewing machine, measuring tape, scissors, red pen

Step 1: Create a pattern around an existing garment. I chose one without sleeves and just made my own sleeves later. Cut the back according to the pattern. Set it aside.
Step 2: Cut the paper pattern in half. We want this to be a wrap dress/tunic, so let’s use half of the pattern for the front cut. Add another 5 or 6 inches to the straight side before cutting. This way, the edges are longer and can wrap around the body.
Step 3-4: Your pieces should look something like this. Sew the edges together using cutouts (closest stitched edges in the photo). Shoulder stitching is good.
Step 5: Measure around the inside of the armpit hole to create the sleeve. Cut a rectangle of this length (as wide as you like) and sew around the eyelet. Make sure your seam is on the inside of the dress. I had to redo my first one because I wasn’t paying enough attention.

Step 6: Once the sleeves are attached, cut triangles around the sleeves and bottom of the dress.
Step 7: For the hat, measure from forehead to nape. Cut two triangles with curved bottoms from the fleece and sew them together, leaving the bottom exposed. Turn right side out and cut two notches for your feathers.

Step 2: Turn inside out and sew the hem around, leaving the bottom open for stuffing. Be sure to pull extra feathers as you move around with the sewing machine.
