The first thing to do to make a cylinder is a model. You need a model for its top and edge. Get the pattern anywhere online or in the Christmas issue of a craft magazine. Next, you need to prepare some colored felt or paper. If it has a Christmas theme, the color can be red or green. But if it is for Snowman, the color will be black. Next, you will need a sewing kit for the felt cylinder and scissors and a glue stick for the paper cylinder. You can add some decoration like buttons and ribbons.

The hat has its own elegance. In the early 1800s, top hats were used by most men of all classes for any occasion, at any time. People in that era, or to be more precise in the 1820s, were all about formality and propriety in their ways and fashion. The hat had a narrow brim and a tall straight crown. In literary art, it always creates a romantic and emotional style. In the late 1800s, women also wore top hats. This trend ended in the 1900s when a less formal style was in fashion.

Once you have made your mini cylinder, you can attach it to the top of the head with a plug (or kirby handle).

Why not try changing the stripes on the hat and mixing the color combinations? You can also use the hats as decorations or for parties full of Easter eggs or other goodies. Making hats can also be a fun party activity for your guests!
