♥ So the way my flower size works is to subtract the use of the XL petal to downsize to large.
Similarly, you can subtract the XL and the large petal to reduce the size to medium and so on with small.
You can still create 3 or 4 layers to keep the flower full, but only use 2 or 3 of the smaller petal sizes instead of the 5 for

♥ You can always enlarge the petals using the PNG image in any basic program or the SVG in any supporting program or cutting machine.
Note that the petals must remain small enough to cut onto 8.5×11 or 12×12 cardstock.
♥ Smaller size flower models measure 3-4 inches. Each list contains more specifics for that flower.
♥ All patterns are designed to be printed on any home printer or can be emailed to your local printer if you don’t have a home printer.

♥ It may vary slightly for everyone, but you will use 16-17 sheets of 8.5×11 cardstock for an XL flower.
About 10-11 leaves when reduced to a large flower and about 5-6 when reduced to a medium flower.
Exceptions to this may be rose designs, which may require more paper. Ella Rose requires up to 22-24 8.5 x 11 leaves for an XL flower. If you have any further questions, please contact us before purchasing.

♥ Yes. If you plan to use the SVG with a cutting machine, you will need to make sure that your machine supports the use of SVG. Cricut design space supports SVG and silhouette design studios.
♥ If you use Silhouette Studio, please use the PNG image or contact me to purchase a dxf file (I did not include dxf with the original downloads simply because it is a lot of files and overwhelming for some of my clients. I am happy to provide it on request
♥ Often a third program will be needed to make the job easier (I highly recommend Sure Cuts or Make it Cut)

♥ If you use a cutting machine, the petals will not scale to the same size as I saved them because Cricut/Silhouette can read the files at a larger scale (this may not happen for everyone).

1. If you hand cut and want your bodice to be as large as shown in the video tutorial, you will need to send the PDFs to a printer and use the included “book size” PDF. Be sure to buy 12″ x 12″ card stock in this case.
2. You can print at home and use the 8.5 x 11 bodice. In this case, the dress will be 50% smaller.
3. The bottom skirt is made with any of my giant flower designs. The choice is up to each person. No matter which flower pattern you choose, the same steps can be applied to construct the dress.

4. Orbels also depend entirely on the manufacturer. Rhinestones, ribbon, smaller paper flower designs, etc. they all make great decor.

This only takes a few moments to connect the sizes and then you can save your project so you don’t have to repeat the process.
Some customers might not be happy about it, but like I said, I can’t control the software. Connecting the dimensions literally takes less than 5 minutes.
