These dolls can be black and white. It is cost-effective and allows your children to expand their creativity to create clothes and dolls.

Printable Paper Dolls, Clothes, And Accessories

I recommend printing on card stock if you have it on hand. This will add some weight and give your paper dolls and their clothes a sense of security while your young ones act out and play with them. As always – use what you have!

Add color as you like. Markers or pencils are quick and easy instructions. But watercolor, collage, or tissue paper can be fun options. If you keep the options open, your kids will get the best results!

One important tip – don’t forget to have your kids color their pictures before they cut everything out. It’s easier for little hands to color when you don’t have to worry about the marker or pen falling off and onto the paper. It is challenging and fun to color!

Before painting, then everything outside the line is washed off and the clothes are cut out!

Victor In The Afternoon: A Boy Paper Doll

These dolls have many small pieces to cut out and round. If your kids can cut these scissors – that’s awesome! If this detail is bothering them, they will need help cutting out these doll shapes. Or you can try alternating cuts!

Advice….you will have to cut the girl’s shoulder length. This really helps hold the shirt in place because the “tab” is easily held in the hole. Do the same with the line where the arm is connected to the body. Cut to the arm area to make room for the tie.

Once your dolls are cut, they are ready to play! I hope your kids enjoy playing with their dolls at least as much as you do with them!

These doll books have tabs on the side that fold the doll itself and hold the clothes. I’m not going to lie – these can be frustrating. Because there are no adhesives, the clothes slide on and off easily. I put traditional tabs in this dress because they remind me of the paper dolls I used to play with as a child.

Paper Doll Templates For Spring

An unpleasant option would be to touch the repositioned glue or glue putty. When the garment is cut, cut the pleat strips immediately. Use glue to layer the clothes on the doll.

Best Printable Paper Dolls To Color

To cut these dolls, you’ll need blank card, scissors (a sharp knife can come in handy!) and a template to print out the paper dolls. I’ve included instructions and cutting instructions in the download so you know exactly where to cut, score, and fold.

Download the printable doll PDF and print on 8.5 x 11″ white cardstock (I used Neenah 65 # Bright White).

Tip: Laminate paper dolls before cutting to make them last longer. I use this cheap laminator from Scotland and it works great!

Put the dolls and clothes in separate piles. Now it’s time for endless paper doll work! Another option is to laminate the prints, then cut them out and add magnetic dots to the back of the paper doll. You can use it on cookie sheets or other magnetic surfaces.
