It’s pretty obvious that I love Disney pumpkins. In my huge list of 130+ Disney pumpkin carving patterns, there is a printable Jack Skellington pumpkin template. Also on my list of 50 Disney Pumpkin Painting Ideas is a great pumpkin painted by Jack Skellington.
But Jack Skellington (and pretty much everything else in The Nightmare Before Christmas) is a character that makes perfect Halloween decorations.
Is a partnership between Tim Burton and Disney. It’s an animated film about Jack Skellington, a living skeleton from Halloween Town who finds the door to Christmas Town.
It’s no secret that characters can take a movie from average to amazing, and the characters in The Nightmare Before Christmas add so much to an already amazing movie.
The Nightmare Before Christmas Jack Skellington Halloween Pumpkin Decorating Kit
Jack Skellington is the leader of Halloween Town, but he’s tired of making Halloween and scaring people. His body is a skeleton and his head is a carved pumpkin. He lives in a spooky haunted house.
Oogie Boogie is a bogeyman. He lives in a tree house and lives to scare. He is also responsible for the shadow on the moon. He is believed to be overseeing the Halloween candy collection.
Zero is Jack Skellington’s ghost dog and best friend. He has a bright orange pumpkin nose. As a loyal companion, he is always there for Jack. Personally, Zero is my favorite character in the movie!
Sally is a creation from a “nightmare” and a prisoner of the mad scientist Dr. Finkelstein only to be kidnapped and captured in the movie Oogie Boogie. She is in love with Jack Skellington.

It’s easy to think you’ve seen them all when you’ve seen a Jack Skellington printable. Because his face isn’t super complicated to make a carved pumpkin. The figure itself is a carved pumpkin!
But I was surprised by the wide variety of stencils I was able to find and collect for you. In total, I found 33 different Jack Skellington pumpkin ideas. Thirty three! I thought I would find a handful but there is plenty to choose from.
Our first batch features just a print of the pumpkin face of Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King. His stitched mouth is so iconic that the eyes and nose are pretty much all you need to carve or paint to recognize his character!
As a reminder, Sally is in love with Jack in The Nightmare Before Christmas. So these prints show the two characters together and in love.
