Newspaper Book Report Template – Retelling the events of the story can be done in a fun and creative way. One of them is making a magazine cover! This can be done for any book, although historical fiction books can also allow students to “report” important events that will affect the lives of the characters. In this activity, students will recreate important events from a newspaper-like story. They should add a catchy title, create a picture and write a description for each to imitate the look of the newspaper cover that highlights the key events of the story.
If you want to add additional suggestions for this assignment, check out our newspaper project suggestions. The teacher can choose to design or change this task by having the students create text for the picture that the teacher created in the template, or give the students a specific event to cover.
