When I was little, my quilts were my favorite toys. I love them. And My Little Ponies is still a thing. You have no idea how much my kids enjoy actually playing with them and watching TV shows. somehow It makes playing with toys from 30 years ago feel like yesterday. (What a pity… 30 years ago!? Yes!
This Canucks Themed Jack O’ Lantern Is Pumpkin Perfection
Even my 2 year old has taken to the My Little Pony train and helicopter recently. train fire truck Likes helicopters or cars. He’s not really picky. My Little Pony Helicopter has been living in his dresser for weeks and there are even a few nights where he sleeps in bed with it. That makes me smile.
I really want to take the girls from My Little Pony: The Movie. It looks so cute. It’s always fun when you feel like a kid. It is a dark force that threatens Ponyville and the Mane 6 – Twilight Sparkle; Applejack, Rainbow Dash Pinkie Pie Fluttershy and Rarity – embark on an unforgettable journey outside of Equestria where they meet exciting challenges to meet new friends. Seriously Aren’t they so cute? When making these, I recommend using pie pumpkins instead of full-sized pumpkins. The shape is more harmonious and less paint is used. In addition, The printables I have below are sized for pumpkins.

Make sure you use premium acrylic paint to paint the pumpkins. It doesn’t matter which brand. I used both DecoArt and Craft Smart paints and they worked amazingly well. I also tried using dollar store acrylic paint, but the coverage was horrible. The three colors I used were DecoArt Bubblegum Pink; DecoArt Wild Orchid and Craft Smart Crisp Blue.
I cut the stem of the pumpkin with a hacksaw. in particular, My husband used a saw to cut it. Don’t you believe you really need to remove the stem? I was sure the snakes would grow thick and cover the trunk.
Place the pumpkin on a paper plate. (You know…the kind of sprawled out figure sitting on the dirt). I think the bad side is that it’s covered with hair on the back. So it doesn’t matter if it’s not colorful.

Paint one coat over the entire pumpkin, including the stem. Then let it dry for 2-3 hours.
For the second layer, sit the pumpkin upright on a small piece of aluminum foil. The paper on the paper plate sticks to the paint. Some of the paint stuck to the aluminum foil and when I scraped it, a little bit of paint was missing from the bottom, but no one could see the bottom, so no big deal. I let it sit overnight to dry.
I also drew a blue pumpkin for Rainbow Dash and a pink pumpkin for Pinkie Pie. I didn’t notice until I got home from the craft store, but the blue is satin and the pink and purple are matte. Therefore, the blue is slightly brighter than the other two.

Mlp Pumpkins: Fluttershy Stare And Angel
Print face patterns on project paper for full-size stickers or shipping labels. I really want to use the glitter stuff, but I can’t find anything in the stores. I recommend looking for a glossy sticker if you can get one. It makes the colors brighter.
Then cut all the sticker pieces. It took a few minutes to cut out the eyelashes and nose pieces, but it really wasn’t too bad. If you are too lazy, you can cut the eyelashes from the eyes and paint the pumpkin with black acrylic paint.
Then press it onto the painted pumpkin. Press all edges to make sure they stick.
Peel off the backing for the ears and stick it onto the heavy paper. A cereal box will also work. You need something a little stronger so that the ears can stand on their own.

Next, use scissors to cut the thick paper around the ear. Leave a 1/2 inch seam along the flat edge so that you have a way to attach the pumpkin. You will need to fold the tab back.
Place the ears next to the pumpkin. I used a sewing pin to attach the paper ears to the pumpkin. They went really easy. Thumb boards work well too. Each ear is held in place by two bobby pins.
Next, make your pony’s feather boa into a hairdo. I used feathers from the craft store. But sometimes you can find it at the dollar store. I used 2 or 3 sewing pins to hold the feathers in place.
Large grains may need to be cut down to a manageable size. I found it took too Fri when they were full.
Rainbow Dash Pumpkin
For Twilight Sparkle’s unicorn horn; You need to cut a long triangle (about 5 inches by 3 inches high) from heavy purple paper and roll it into a cone shape. Use tape to hold it together and cut the bottom of the shell to lay it flat on the pumpkin. I attached the horns to the pumpkin with plain tape; But you can use another pin to hold it in place if needed.
I think Twilight Sparkle is my favorite pumpkin. She is so cute with her unicorn horn! But the other two are awesome. Love the rainbow fur boa!
Pony Friends Forever! I love how the three My Little Pony pumpkins look side by side. They look colorful and happy.
These No Carve My Little Pony Pumpkins are super easy to make! Kids will love painting pumpkins. It’s super easy to make pumpkins look like real characters by using sticker eyes instead of hand-painting the eyes. Yes, If you’re more artistic than me, you can paint the face with acrylic paint, but I found that it was much easier when using a template.
