Regarding paint leaks: Even if the correct rollers are installed and the correct technique is used, you can still have paint leaks here and there. In most cases, it is not noticeable, especially from a few meters away, and can be easily cleaned with a small brush. Don’t forget that you are creating a “hand painted wall finish”. A few imperfections and some paint leaks here are natural and inevitable for this type of work. To minimize leaks, use spray adhesive and less paint on rollers and brushes.

Did you know that you can create your own fabric mold and use it for curtains, tablecloths, cushions, and more? When pasting on fabric, please use glue to ensure good results. First, glue the ironed fabric to the surface so it doesn’t move while you stencil. You’ll get better results with a stencil brush, but sometimes a roller can also work, depending on your fabric. Add some textile (sold at craft stores) to your acrylic paint. You can also get a specially formulated fabric paint, but honestly, good craft acrylic paint with a little bit of fabric just mixed in works just as well and costs a lot less! 🙂 Let the print on the stencils dry completely, preferably 24 hours, then heat the image by ironing the fabric for approx. 20-30 seconds on the LOW setting penetrates the fabric.
