Mickey And Minnie Mouse Decor

Mickey And Minnie Mouse Decor – Who doesn’t love Mickey Mouse? For more than 90 years, he has been giving the world fun and joy. And who is Mickey without his other half, Minnie Mouse? This classic birthday party theme is perfect for any Disney fan!

My daughter loves all things Disney, especially Mickey and Minnie Mouse, and her favorite place in the world to visit is Walt Disney World Park in Florida. A few years ago I did a Mickey and Minnie Mouse themed dessert station for my daughter Caroline’s 15th birthday.

The night started at her favorite Italian restaurant, where her friends gave her a surprise! Afterwards they had a fun scavenger hunt at the mall and of course it was also Disney themed. Then all the girls went to our house for the night and of course her surprise dessert table!

I say surprised, but she actually saw him before we went to dinner. She just assumed it was for a client, that’s the life of a stylist boy haha! So when she found out it was really for her, she was so excited!

When planning a Mickey and Minnie themed party, you can’t go wrong with a black, white, red, and yellow color scheme. But these are classic Mickey and Minnie colors. I started my table with a black tablecloth and red polka dots. I paired them with black and white tableware with glass cake stands and apothecary jars.

I made a no-sew background using pom poms and red and white polka dot fabric for the Minnie bow, using my hot glue! I placed Minnie on a black and white striped fabric, creating the perfect backdrop for my table!

The girls went to see a movie together (a Disney movie, of course!), so I mixed popcorn and candy into this dessert table.

I used a variety of candies including Mickey Mouse lollipops, red and yellow citrus candies, rock candies, and red balls. I also served some gold chocolate coins with a special Mickey shaped coin from the Disney parks.

And since the girls can’t live on candy alone, I also made some strawberries and blueberries in dotted cupcake stands.

Our pastries come from Michelle’s pastry shop. This time we served Minnie shaped cookies with adorable bows!

For her birthday cake, I served a cake with a ruffled frosting that looks like a Minnie Mouse dress. I topped the cake with a Happy Birthday topper that I created on my Cricut.

Actually, all the cutouts for this party were made by me on my Cricut. Cake and cupcake toppings and popcorn jar labels. I also made straw flags, coasters and signs for my lemonade table.

For the drinks table, I created a backdrop of paper fans in red, black and white for the party. And I gave the girls Mason jars of Mickey Mouse decorations along with fresh lemonade!

I know you’ve heard of “glamping” before, but have you ever tried glamping?! I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not much of a wild person, but I could definitely enjoy boho-chic backyard glamping!

Turning thirteen is a big deal. This is the first year when you are no longer a child, not a “teenager”, but a real teenager! It deserves a real celebration if you ask me. So when one of my wonderful clients asked me to help her throw a surprise party for her daughter Lexi’s 13th birthday, I was more than happy to make it extra special for her.

Spring will be here before we know it, and the pandemic is still going strong, and we’re all still finding ways to celebrate safely. Outdoor micro-parties are one of the best ways to do this! That’s why I’m sharing this beautiful theme with the llama

Lori and I live for projects. If we don’t have a project to work on, we get a little lost. We usually start planning for Allison’s July birthday in March. We always say we start too early (and my husband thinks we’re crazy), but we always end up doing last minute projects during party week. Starting early also gives us time to work on our ideas and see if they are feasible. We ran a lot of trial tests on items that would never have worked if we hadn’t. For Allison’s 3rd birthday, we chose a Mickey Mouse birthday. We knew we wanted a backyard party with a bouncy house and water slide, so we worked to add some Mickey and Minnie Mouse details with these Mickey Mouse party ideas, including crafts, decorations, and desserts!

The Mickey Mouse tablecloth was the star of the show and was so easy to make. We covered the dining table with two red tablecloths, making sure that the tablecloth reached the floor. We covered the top with a black tablecloth. We cut out two white oval “buttons” from printer paper and glued them to the red tablecloth. It’s so simple, but makes a great statement! For a real Mickey Mouse cake stand, we covered four Amazon shipping boxes with wrapping paper and arranged them on the table in a pyramid shape. The little box on top was for a Mickey Mouse cupcake. We ended up putting out Mickey Mouse cupcakes and Minnie Mouse cupcakes.

We love a variety of fun and delicious themed desserts at our birthday parties. Our very own Mickey Mouse party … we had cakes, brownies, rice treats and pretzels. Everyone will find something for themselves! Recipes and detailed instructions can be found here:

A party isn’t a party without balloons, but in times of severe global helium scarcity, you need to get a little more creative with your balloons. Balloon poles are an easy and festive alternative to helium-filled balloons. Our Mickey Mouse Party Balloon Columns were our first attempt at this and we absolutely loved how they turned out! A column of balloons consists of a series of rows grouping balloons. Each group consists of four balloons. The key to making the column look its best is to try to make all the balls about the same size. Then connect the two balloons. Then combine the two sets of double balls into a group of four balls. Four groups are attached to something vertical. Here we used Coleman Instant Canopy poles. But you can also drive a piece of plumbing pipe or a stick into the ground. Attach the rectangle to your vertical element. Place them together, turning each successive group slightly so that the balloons fit nicely together as shown in the image above. You cannot move a group of four balloons too much after you have placed another row on top. Friction between the balloons will cause the balloon to pop. Note about the weather. It took us about an hour and a half to inflate the balloons and make these four balloon columns. Balloons (unlike helium) last for a few days, but look best the first day, so I waited until the morning of the party to blow them up.

Like the balloon columns we made for the Mickey Mouse party, the balloon arch consists of four groups of balloons. Tie two balloons together and then twist two sets of double balloons into a group of four balloons. This is a building block for a balloon arch. To make a real Mickey Mouse balloon arch, we started with four rows of red balloons at each end of the arch. In the third row, a group of four consisted of three red balls and one white ball. Then we filled the rest of the arch with rows of black balls.

We like to have fun. We distribute party bags. We’ve really outdone ourselves this year with these Mickey Mouse party bags. They turned out very cute. Since we had so many children of all ages, the services were individualized for each child, so we did
