Hello again! Here’s a tutorial on how to make your own Elf on the Shelf doll! If you love to craft or don’t want to buy one, you can make one if it’s cheap 😉 Hope you enjoy!

Cut out 2 equal sized head shapes (one on the back of the head and one on the front skin) and place them on top of each other. Take a piece of hair color and if you want to rock it, fold the top of the hair color over your forehead and it will repeat. Cut the hair into the desired shape and leave it at the back of the head. If you don’t want to rock, skip the overlapping part and cut the hair. Protect with headgear. Use sharp pencils to draw the face. Do not touch the newly drawn face or the marker will rub off. Wait 10-15 minutes to touch it. Avoid it until today.
Cut 2 pieces of the same size for the dress, or dress if you like, line them up, then cut out 1 pair of legs and arms (no need to add arms) and place them between the two dresses/skirts.
Cut out 2 triangles of the same size as shown, line them up and cut out a small white trim for it.
You can use common items or make your own. Take a bunch of fabric or scraps and cut them into small pieces.

Sew the entire face, leaving a small opening to stuff the inside. After you have finished sewing, finish sewing. Sew your hair and if you have bangs, cover them and sew them to the forehead. Sew the pants and arms to one side of the shirt/dress, then sew that side over the shirt/dress, leaving one side of the shirt/dress open for stuff, then finish sewing. Do the same thing as the face with the hat, minus the hair, and check all the trim on the dress and hat before sandwiching and putting on. Sew two pairs of shoes. If you don’t like the look of the stitching 🙂 there are too many tangled threads on the doll, use a colored pen to color the threads with the problem thread that looks like a piece of felt. the color of the color is similar. .
