Learn How To Draw Anime Characters – Anime, also known as manga, is one of the most popular art styles. You can find many comics, movies and anime designs online. The interesting thing is that in this tutorial I will teach you how to create your own anime designs.
In this tutorial, I will teach you how to draw an anime face in two different ways. One will be how to draw a front view of an anime face and the other will be how to draw a 3/4 perspective anime face. I’ve kept the tutorials pretty simple with step-by-step instructions for each one.
Learn How To Draw Anime Characters
You should start by drawing the jaw. Draw two diagonal lines for the jaw and connect them. These 2 lines will be the chin. We will also draw two almost vertical lines for the sides of the face.

Draw a cross in the center of the face. We will draw different facial features along the arms of the cross.
The ears will be drawn as two curved lines aligned with the horizontal line. The inside of the ear will also be drawn as curved lines.
It will be easy enough to draw the neck. Just draw curved parallel lines coming out under the jaw.
The upper part of the hair will be pulled in the form of long tufts of hair that come down, covering the upper part of the ears and part of the eyebrows.

Finally, we will draw a final line drawing on top of our dummies drawing. We’ll also add some shadow under the jaw and inside the eyes. In addition, we will continue to thicken the lower lines under the nose, jaw, eyes and ears.

Easy Steps To Creating Chibi Characters
You should start by drawing the jaw and the left side of the face. First draw a curved convex line for the forehead and then a concave line for the side of the face. After that, you should draw another curved line in the center and one more to the right. The pointed end will be the chin.
The cross should be drawn in the form of curved lines, one vertical, connecting the center of the chin with the upper part of the forehead. The other line should be horizontal and run across the face.
The neck will be drawn with curved lines, one coming out under the jaw and another parallel to it, which will connect the ear, which we will draw next, to the upper body.
The ear will be drawn as a curved line aligned with the horizontal line. The inside of the ear will also be drawn as curved lines.
How To Draw Anime And Manga (a Step By Step Guide)
As shown in the image above, draw a small horizontal line just below the nose. Both sides of the mouth will be aligned with the center of the eyes.
To pull the hair, just draw the top section as long strips of hair hanging from the sides of the head and covering the eyebrows and ears.
Also, you should erase the cross in the center of the face to make your character look more refined.
Finally, we’ll draw a final line drawing over our mannequin drawing. We’ll also add some shadow under the jawline and cheekbones. We will also darken some of the lines to add more depth to our character design.
