I feel like I learned some helpful tricks and tips on how to throw a baby shower on a budget that’s still fun.
The most important thing I learned? Keep it simple and focus on the mother and the baby to be born soon. They need to feel special, loved and important!

However! For all these showers I looked for different games. I’ve found that I don’t really want to be in charge of games, so the simpler the better. In all my searching I have found many cute ideas… but I never want to pay for them.
Since I like to make things as affordable as possible for people, I decided to hire someone to create some free baby shower printables and I’m so excited to share them with you!

Keep in mind that these games are primarily ones that people can just play while sitting around and visiting them. We did some of these at a recent baby shower and a lot of people really appreciated the low key nature. However, there may be some moms who like games that are a bit more “lively”, so try to get their opinion first!
I think it’s fun to have some rewards for the games – but I never spend much on them. I usually get some prizes from Target’s Bullseye Playground, some Mrs. Mayer’s soap, and some chocolate. They’re not expensive and people seem to enjoy them.
Baby Wishes – This is just a simple wish for a mother to keep in her baby’s baby book. It’s not really a game, but it’s a really sentimental game that I think Mom will love.
What’s on your phone – This is a more modern version of “What’s in your bag”. I always enjoy!
Woodland Editable Baby Shower Games Printable Animal Baby
Who knows mom best? – I always love these games – not everyone in the shower is going to know mom super well, so it’s fun to see her guesses and learn a little bit more about mom herself.
Baby Price is right – this is always one of my favorite party games. It’s so much fun, especially when there’s a wide range of ages. You’ll get all sorts of answers! I think it’s usually fun to get these items and give them to mom as gifts if you can afford it, but it’s totally optional. This is a game I would make as a group and have a timer – make sure they know they aren’t allowed to look up the answers online! Don’t forget to list the brands (a bag of Pampers wipes will certainly cost differently than a bag of private label!).
Baby Shower BINGO – I’ve never played this before, but it looks pretty fun. It would be fun to see what people put down and who ends up winning. Does the mom-to-be have friends who buy fairly predictable gifts or more unique gifts?! We also have some cute 1 inch circles that you can use for BINGO markers included in the printables.
Baby Name Race – I’ve played this at a few showers and it’s always a blast. This is what you need to do with a timer (I think between a minute and two is good – less time is more challenging but more fun). At the end of the game give mom all the leaves so she has lots of baby name ideas!

Old Baby Names – This is easy – but make sure people don’t use their phones!
Old Wives Tales – I’m sure we’ve all heard the old wives tales of various gender predictions! This test to see who knows them best!
Here are a few different invitations that we’ve included in this printable pack. To be honest I mostly use Evite these days because it’s pretty easy and saves on postage, printing costs etc. However, there are some limitations (especially if you’re inviting people who don’t regularly use their email address). You can always use Evite for the majority and send them to anyone who might not be checking their email.
This is a very traditional invitation only – just write the names! You can also set this up on something like PicMonkey and fill in the information so you don’t have to type everything out by hand.

Book an invitation – This type of shower has become increasingly popular in recent years. I’ll admit they’re not my *favorites* just because I don’t like telling people what to bring. But that could just be me 🙂 Still, if that’s the kind of shower you throw, that’s a fun invitation. It makes a personal gift!
I don’t have many embellishments that you can use – as I mentioned before, I highly recommend you head over to the Dollar Tree… but there are some cute printables included in this printable pack.
