You can use any brush, but the coarsest and strongest brushes are ideal. This will help you create different textures in your projects and paint easily. In addition, you will need medium and small brushes to create details.

These markers are optional but recommended as they create a nice finish to the sculpture. Painting on an uneven texture like paper mache is difficult and these markers will simplify the process.
You can use colored pencils to add finishing touches to your creations and create unique and special effects.
Ideally, always use dark acrylic paints as they are best for adding colored pencils and pens to create details. But as long as you choose acrylic paint, you can use whatever colors and effects you like.

We’ve improved and expanded the 2D drawing and shading tutorials to include a tutorial on how to turn them into 3D papier-mache sculptures.
