Celebrity News Tom Hanks defends his family during inbreeding debate: ‘It doesn’t matter what our names are’ by Njera Perkins 2 days ago In this tutorial, I will describe the process of creating Line Art Star Wars icons in Adobe Illustrator. . Our vector helpers are MirrorMe, VectorScribe and ColliderScribe; they will make work easier and faster.
Most of the icons we will create today are symmetrical on the vertical axis, and in these cases it is convenient to use MirrorMe. We take this tool and set an axis and an angle of 90 degrees on the open panel.
Click on the artboard and select Apply to Layer in the resulting annotation. This mode allows you to create mirror copies of objects during the drawing process.
Now create hair on Chewbacca’s head using the Pen tool or InkScribe. Using MirrorMe, we cut the number of paths created in half and also see the whole character. This is very important for the rapid formation of the image and eliminates the need to correct unsuccessful actions. If you create only half of Chewbacca’s face and then reflect the objects using the Reflect tool, these errors are inevitable.

In the process of creating linear icons, it is convenient to use the path extension tool of the VectorScribe plugin. This tool allows you to expand existing paths according to previously installed modes in the dialog box. A single bezier is flat and spiral with constant radius.
In the MirrorMe panel, click the Delete Axes button, then create two vertical lines as shown in the image below.
Create a triangular nose, then use the dynamic corners tool (VectorScribe) to round its corners.
With MirrorMe, set the axis of symmetry, select Apply to Layer, and then draw the top of Yoda’s head.

Arc-shaped paths are created quickly and easily using SubScribe’s Arc-start-end-istication tool. Now create an arc by extending the existing path as shown below.
Draw 5 more arcs on Yoda’s head, corresponding to the chin, mouth, nose and forehead creases.
Click the Remove Axes button in the MirrorMe panel. Now apply the Zig Zag effect to the forehead creases (Effect > Distort & Transform > Zig Zag…).
To create recognizable images, I advise you to study photos of Star Wars characters and try to style icons by observing proportions and using minimal lines.

We’ll take a closer look at this icon as I use a new tool to create it. Start by drawing a circle and two ellipses as shown in the image below.
I think the ellipses need to touch the circle somewhere at the top left and also rotate properly. This can be done using the ColliderScribe plugin’s Rotate on Collision tool. Space keyboard shortcut: use alternate rotation orientation.fan and I was ecstatic when the newest trilogy came out in 2015, but as the difficulty of this project grew, I wanted to give up even more. Each face took an hour or two to complete, and I felt like after a few hours I wasn’t going to get very far. After some time, I completely abandoned this project. It sat untouched in my bedroom for months.
And with that came new characters that I wanted to include in my paintings; it seems that every time a
The movie came out, I found the motivation to start again. All in all, I’m glad I put this project off! If I had finished it before the end of the trilogy, Rey’s lightsaber would have been the wrong color and important characters like Jyn Erso would have been missed.
Learn To Draw A Mandalorian From Star Wars In 8 Steps
For this step, I took my 24″ x 18″ paper and drew all the symbols in pencil. It is important not to go into too much detail in this step. Pencil drawings are used as a guide in the painting process. I used a pencil number 4H so that my lines are not too dark. Again, these pencil marks are a reference for the coloring steps, so you hardly have pencil on paper for this step.
I also penciled in the eyes of most of the characters in this step. I used it
