Happy Birthday Pop Up Card Template – Everyone loves a pop card. This is a Whimsy font birthday card assembly tutorial. I came up with an intricate yet simple design to make an 8.5 x 5.5″ eye card. Mixing letters, papers and sizes create a fun modern card. This crafty project is made from 6 pieces of 6.5 x 11″ stock. card and fits into a standard 6 x 9″ book envelope.
Don’t skimp on the card stock and paper you use. This file begs to be tested! The download comes with all the numbers and you can adjust them according to the age you want.

If you follow the instructions, you can easily create your own card and make it the way you want. All you need to make these cards is paper, scissors and glue (or double-sided tape), double-sided foam tape if you want to stamp them on the wall.

Castle Pop Up Card Template
This is completely unchanged from the Cricut. The images have lost the punch lines, and when loaded the box shape is larger than the standard bed. This would take a lot of time to fix and work, I could have saved the money and started it myself.

SVG files are not good. I couldn’t get over anything. I had to rebuild a lot because it was all cut lines. So I had to hide the content and create my own number line. So it won’t print. So I couldn’t make this card. (Cricut Design Space)

Today I’m going to show you how to make something called the IMPOSSIBLE card which is a great companion to my cards. You may also have heard of this as a high card, an illusion card or a gap card. I call it a very simple pop-up card! But I think it is impossible to get the name “Impossible”. If you look closely at the “impossible card” you’ll see the difference at the top and bottom, but both don’t seem big enough to account for the “jump” part. But the basic impossible card pattern is made from just one piece of paper. So how does it work?

So it’s a bit of an illusion… it’s a twisted card. An impossible card starts life as a piece of paper, cut on both sides and cut in the middle. In the middle is a number line. Now turn the paper to one side and the card will rotate to make crazy shapes. It’s easier to show than to explain, so watch the video!
Now, many people have cut the possible card by hand with scissors or a die cutter, but readers have asked if I can turn the impossible card template into an SVG cut file that they can put on a cutting machine like Cricut. So there I am! In fact, I’ve come up with several different sizes and orientations that go with them all. The best part about using a cutting machine is that the measurements are perfect every time!
