Since we are going to be twisting and bending the leaves, it is best to use light cardboard for this project, 65 pound cardboard is ideal. The leaves are created with our large printable rose flower template, which you can download below.
When it comes to hanging paper flowers, you have a variety of options. You can use a wire loop and a piece of tape wrapped around the base of the rose, and then hang it on the wall using a nail or hook. If you want to present a single rose as a wall decoration, this presentation will look especially great. If you want to create a floral background, it can be more practical to use double-sided tape or command strips instead of tape.

I’m not one to spend an hour on a flower. I focus more on quality than quantity, so I put extra effort into designing my templates to minimize assembly complexity and time.
I’ve listed them from easiest to hardest. Even the most difficult is not so difficult. Each flower takes more than 5 minutes to prepare.
For the cardstock flowers, I prefer to use the Cricut cutting machine for all the cutting. It goes faster and cuts more precisely. If you’re looking to buy a Cricut, I’ve provided some pointers on what machines and accessories I recommend for beginners.
How To Make Giant Paper Flowers
