Free Printable Blank Menu Templates – What is considered a good thank you list depends on the traditions of each family. The level between each family can be very different, so there is no perfect menu. All we can do here is suggest ideas for what might be considered a good Thanksgiving menu.

For a complete Thanksgiving dinner, you’ll need to prepare at least four dishes. They are starters, main courses, side dishes and desserts. You can start the meal with side dishes such as corn chips or cheese balls. Most people cook turkey as their main dish, but you can also cook chicken, duck, or goose. But you can still celebrate the Thanksgiving spirit by preparing a simple menu like mashed potatoes, fresh salad, cornbread, and pumpkin pie. For the turkey, you can try several turkey Thanksgiving recipes that you can cook in a slow cooker. It will save you a lot of time and energy and make Thanksgiving dinner preparation so much easier. You can substitute some menu items, such as cooking chicken instead of turkey and serving pudding instead of pumpkin pie.

Plan, at my house we have daily “what’s for lunch/dinner/snacks” sessions??? without taking your eyes off me!)

On Sunday afternoons, while my husband plays basketball (and I ask him nicely to pick up our five children), I look at what’s in the freezer and pantry. I look at the schedule and what it will take to cook slow, cook fast and take what you can and go. then i head straight to my emeals app and see what great recipes i was able to work with this week.

And “skip” the ones that don’t work with our schedule and add any foods I’ve been wanting to try, need to blog about, or want to implement for health reasons. (I’ve been working on a recipe to implement the milk kefir we’ve been making lately.)

I then use a face-to-face color marker to fill in any suitable family activities on the weekly menu planner (which I’ve laminated for this purpose and hangs on our fridge with sticky magnets). Finally, I use a black marker to fill in the menu plan for my weekly recipe mix.

I have a mental list of “breakfast staples” and “main meals” that include oatmeal, fruit, nuts and yogurt, grain-free granola, eggs and smoothies, or celery almond butter and raisins, bananas and milk, or whole . apples I also add them to the menu planner, considering sports outings, work outings and mom, etc. this goes in the fridge, and the recipes I’ve chosen go in page protectors and I put them in the notebook holder on my counter. so even if I’m busy or away at lunchtime, the stalls and kids can look at the calendar, grab a prescription, and go to work.
