Best Pumpkin Carving Ideas With Stencils
Sorry for posting the game so late, but carved pumpkins don’t last very long in the warm California weather (90 degrees the other day).
So I can say I’m a beginner at pumpkin carving (5th grade pumpkins were a pile of junk).
You’ve probably seen all these terrifyingly realistic zombie pumpkins and human faces this year. But let’s be honest. Not all of us are gifted with extreme pumpkin carving techniques. Besides, we probably don’t have their fancy tools.
This pumpkin patch from Zero took about an hour. Sally (I made this earlier today but sadly not for it) took about an hour to carve and 15 minutes to embed one pumpkin. My S.O made Jack and finished it at the same time.
The Ultimate Guide To Carving A Pumpkin
Okay, so I didn’t take pictures of the gnawing pumpkins, but I’m assuming you all know how to do that.
Zero to you find a picture (or stencil or just reach out and be a BAMF like me).
When choosing a stencil or drawing a zero: Make sure the pumpkin has enough room to do so.
My pumpkins are small and wide, so I chose a wider picture than the tall picture of Zero.

The sculpt didn’t make any difference except for digging out the eyes of Zero’s amber nose.
So people who make great pumpkins have all these special tools that I’m too lazy to go out and buy.

The first few minutes are difficult because holding hands is really difficult.
