I like to give gifts to my friends and my boyfriend. All this is possible for friends. These are multi-purpose wine bottle labels.
I am using Avery 8.5 x 11 sticker sheets, but have used other brands before and it works just as well. I’ve tried cardstock in the past, but I don’t like the wine bottle as much as the sticker paper, so I really recommend it.
I recently made beer bottle labels for a retirement party and the stickers on them turned out great. I let the bottles heat up and put the labels on. It worked like a charm.
After printing the labels, cut them out with a paper cutter or paper clipper. Depending on the size of the bottle, leave enough room for you to make them a little bigger or smaller if needed.

It works best using a color photo inkjet printer. Digital label designs must be printed on full 8.5″x11″ glue-backed paper, and each label must be cut with a paper cutter or pair of sharp scissors. I do not recommend using pre-cut label sheets because they are difficult to align and the paper itself is of low quality.

1. How to download labels? Printable labels come as jpeg or pdf. You can open the PDF in a PDF viewer (available on most computers). If not, you can download Adobe Reader for free here: http://get.adobe.com/reader/ or open the jpeg to your software program of choice.
2. What type of adhesive backing paper should I use? No matter the color and design, we recommend printing your images on white coated paper to make them bold and vibrant.
I always email my clients their labels as an 8″.5×11″ printable image to save you time and sticker paper. For example, 2.3″x2.9″ labels come with 9 label images per 8.5″x11″ sheet.
The most basic and generally least expensive printing option is standard sticker paper. I keep it on hand and use it for most of my basic sticker label projects (like adult plastic hand sanitizer bottles) or if I’m just testing products. The final images are usually not as bright (but depending on the colors of your label design, it depends on the colors that appear on the screen), but the print dries quickly and for the price, it does the job. does

With the current fashion craze, vinyl sticker paper is becoming increasingly popular as more options are available. Price thickness adhesive (permanent or replacement); There are several options based on how well they work on waterproof, pollution-affected drying times and curved surfaces.
For my own mini wine bottle label; I use PaperVisual vinyl sticker paper, which is commonly used to make decals. This sticker paper is matte and glossy and waterproof, so if it gets wet, the labels won’t come off right away. I found the label colors more vibrant when using this paper. It can take up to 5 minutes to dry, so don’t use it if you’re in a rush.
One of my favorite features of this vinyl sticker paper is that it is repositionable. This is gold!!! I like to level my stickers; This may take a few tries and the vinyl sheet allows for mistakes.
Tip: When using labels, attach the first bottle to the center of the label. Then continue to gently press the joint seal to the right and left, pushing out the air bubbles.

3. Can I use card stock? We recommend using heavy paper as the labels will adhere to the curve of the bottle. You have to add your own glue and it won’t adhere as well as the mini wine bottle labels. If you decide to use it as a tag, punch a hole in the corner of the label. I recommend following my instructions for tag printing here.
4. Why does my final print have a white border? One of the most overlooked parts of printing at home often comes with printer settings. Be sure to adjust the printer settings on your color printer. Set options will vary depending on your printer manufacturer. So, before you print on sticker paper (as the number of sheets per pack is limited), test your print on regular copy paper first.
Most of the time I use “borderless printing” because I don’t want the printer to shrink my image and add an extra white band to the outer edge of my image. I always choose “Best Photo” even if I don’t print the photo (it’s best not to write my printable document as a photo). These settings are usually found under the Advanced Settings option.
Be sure to select the correct “Paper Type” setting. This is especially important because adhesive-backed paper comes in both matte and glossy finishes. When working with special papers; Manufacturers include printer instructions that tell you which paper settings to use. They may or may not work for you, so print a sheet of paper first as a test.

5. I need more help with my home printer. I wrote a blog article with more detailed printing tips and tricks.
When you find a combination that works for you, keep that paper in stock and write down the printer settings (write directly on the paper packaging). Along the way, if months go by between printing projects. You don’t have to rely on your memory or start over. I always like to keep my favorite papers in stock for all those last minute projects.
If you are using FedEx Printing, Staples, Office Max, if you prefer your labels printed by Kinkos, etc. They will be able to guide you through the selection. Make sure they don’t send you to a pre-cut index sheet. My printable labels don’t fit. If they ask, Baer Design Studio labels printed by a professional printer you have my permission. Happy creating!
