I love the thickness of this mechanical pencil (0.5mm), I always have it in my travel box (if my son does not steal it). The grip is very comfortable and the shifting of the mine to a softer one will give you more control and tone.

I like to have them around when I want to draw something fast, and 0.7mm is my favorite thing all the time! And while they come with HB lead like any other mechanical pencil, you can add a different softness to the lead. I like to add strikers and different colors to divide the lead.
This is my favorite rubber band, I first bought it when I was in college in Chile, it was an old version but had the same idea. I like that the shape of the eraser gives you 3 sharp edges that you can use to be more precise, it is better than round in my opinion. In addition, it is a good choice if you do not have a rubber shield.
There are some things that when you find a brand you love, you just keep going and not look back. For me, Staedtler rubber is just that. I have been using it since college and I love it!
