Cub Scout Blue And Gold Centerpieces – Last weekend we celebrated our blue and gold for Scouts. We are in a small town, so we invite our astrologers. We passed three boys and two boys were Eagle Scouts! For this small town, I really like our Boy Scouts. It helps us to have great leaders as well.
I am on the committee for blue and gold this year. Because I’m a planner, I’m in the middle of nowhere. Last year we made chocolate cake. They are powerful, but unfortunately we don’t have enough time to do that this year. I came up with a paw print and fleur de lis for bronze. You can download the paw print SVG at the end of this post.

We use washed pots and cover them with blue paper. We tied blue and gold ribbon to the top, blew it out, and cut a paper towel to make it puffy. We made these last year and I’m happy to say that the paper towels keep well in storage. We just have to want some of them back. That has saved us a lot of time this year.

I cut a 3″ oval circle from the Cricut Essentials Cartridge. I cut two for each jar because it is packaged with a stick. I also cut 2″ clamps for each jar I used the Silhouette. My camo to cut. You can download the paw print SVG file for free at the end of this post. I ran the claw through my Xyron and stuck it to the flow circle. I then cut three fleur de lis sets for each jar, also from the Accent Essentials cartridge.
I used the tape to run around the dirt circle almost completely around, leaving room for the rod.
For the fleur de lis I used a tape runner on the three fat sections and down the middle.
We fill the pots 3/4 full of corn to wrap the skewers so they don’t fall. Corn is easier to clean than sand and we have it for our chickens. You can also use Styrofoam blocks.

I used a Cricut printer box for the round and fleur de lis. I used my Silhouette Cameo for the paw print. You can download it here:
This is what our dinner looked like when we were done. There are three blue tables for passing Webelos. Both red tables are available for Eagle Scout. There is a buffet table in the back and does not appear in the bridge and the prize table. For… I am very busy this week. I left it for the last 10 days and when I got back to town I had to start working at 10 on my son’s Cub Scouts Blue and Gold Banquet Centerpieces. It’s what I created.
I am a coffee stocker and I have been stocking coffee for the last year. I finally found a use for them and decided to process the cups in the middle by covering it with paper.
The Cub Scout badge is a Fleur-di-lis and honestly I don’t think I have a Fleur-di-lis but I am on my Gypsy and I have 6 to choose from! I love the hidden secrets of all cryptocurrencies! I opted for the Fleur-di-lis from Sweethearts, a 3.75-inch cutout with a shadow base. If you don’t have a metal cutter, a Fleur-di-Lis die cut by hand will also work well.

Well, I’ll give you some tips if you want to get your coffee back. Coffee cans are 12 1/2 inches in diameter and my paper plate is 12 inches so I had to find a solution for the missing 1/2 inch. I glued with a strip of embroidered cardstock with a Fleur-di-lis symbol to cover the gaps of my paper. To make the cups look more masculine, I tied a jackal belt around them.
Ribbons and Rosettes cartridges have Fleur-di-lis cutouts, but since I needed 20 and didn’t have time to get the exact details, I just made these rosettes by hand. They measure 3 inches and 4 inches wide.
For the center pink, I drew some circles with a Fleur-di-lis symbol and printed some Cub Scout clip art. The boys loved the Rosettes, and as the boys did, they started pretending that the dowels were swords. I wish I could do enough for every boy to get a home, maybe I will for next year.
This is how the centerpiece looks at the table at a party, tied with a balloon inside. Your package’s blue and gold party is coming up and you want great and fun decor for this occasion. Not just balloons and plastic waiters. Something strange, something strange. But going that way will cost you a penny, right?

According to the Boy Scouts of America, “Many scouts celebrate Scouting Week in February with a ‘birthday party’ called the Blue and Gold Party. In almost all cases, the color blue and gold is the main symbol of the year. It brings families together for a fun and enjoyable evening.” Let’s have a blue and gold party this year to remember with the idea of these parties!

The Cub Scout Blue and Gold Party is a goal for our Cub Scouts and we want to make it as special as possible for them!
I love my Boy Scouts. However, I tend to leave my husband in charge of Scouting! However, I volunteered to organize my Blue and Gold Boy Scouts party…. (I can always control myself in these things).

1) We change the tablecloth – blue / “golden” – as well as change the color of the plate. Instant color and eye catching contrast.
2) The theme of our blue and gold party is “camping with scouts” so we have scouts creating some “fire” with wipes and tea lights – they are glued to an old CD.
Luckily at our place, the back wall is blue, so we shot lots of blue and gold balloons into a square shape.
