Sometimes my kids bring these puzzles home for math homework. Instead of dots, numbers were used as answers to math problems (non-linear) and linked to a sequence of problems on the worksheet, starting with 1 and continuing in a straight line to the end of the puzzle. I loved when the math homework was a connecting puzzle because if my kids didn’t get the math problems right, the puzzle would be messy when they connected the dots. Then they had to go back and correct all their wrong answers, thereby guaranteeing a perfect grade for the homework and a good picture (usually something holiday-related, like a jack-o-lantern or jingle bells or a bunny with teeth. ) and they found solving puzzles fun. All math homework should be fun.

…whatever. So humor me for a minute. Imagine that each of us is assigned one of these puzzles in our life, and life events lead us from one point to another, and as a result, if everything goes well, we get a clear picture of something. , shortly before our death.

(Don’t ask me questions about who chooses the puzzle and why, or who sees it at the end, or how hard it will be to solve, and what if our final picture looks like both. – Yearbook – I don’t have all those answers. It’s just a metaphor. .)

Well, now imagine (without thinking too much) that when we get down to the right (life) point in succession, it’s easy to “see” the next person’s path, and so on. (Instead of skipping an important point and going back, or worse, zig-zagging the entire page before getting back to the right point, we’ll get off to big things.)

Just for fun, here’s a puzzle scene of someone who has reached and/or will live to be 117 (remember, all dots are life milestones).

Don’t ask me how I came up with this puzzle. Also, my life may seem simple compared to others, but I have lived it and I assure you it is not. [meow]
