Any good children’s story director will tell you that computer animation is the way to the end, not a genre in itself. The best cartoons in recent years will be as successful as two cartoons, pencil drawings or socks. The worst people gather around events hoping that technology will take care of the rest.
“Tale of Despereaux” had minor translation issues in the film, but the animation greatly enhanced the storyline, which was always fun to watch. Even if the film had to be put together in a room with an endless range of computer servers, it would not be able to lose its fictional roots.
Based on a 2003 book by Kate DiCamillo, the plot is in danger of falling into “Ratatouille,” last year’s best-selling Pixar film about an epicurean that takes the French world by storm. Both films feature outdoor mouse athletes, featuring culinary themes and made in Western Europe. But in the main story, the movie is not like “The Princess Bride” and “Big Night”. “Ratatouille” is a complex celebration of the creation of art. “Despereaux” is a fairy tale with a simple theme.
The journey begins in an unnamed city with “Camelot” celebrating a delicious soup culture, but is plunged into darkness when a monster named Roscuro (voiced by Dustin Hoffman) plunges into the soup. Of the Queen and died of a heart attack. Attack. Rescue comes in the form of a mouse named Despereaux (Matthew Broderick), which, despite its small size and large ears, is not afraid. He befriended the princess (Emma Watson) and they worked together to increase the darkness.

“Despereaux” is directed by Sam Fell, who works on the low-cost “Flushed Away” movie, and the film shares some charms. Laughter exists in natural places, such as elementary school mice, which teach students to tremble (our hero will not). Despereaux also bored the family when he decided to read instead of eating.
The story is told frankly through interesting stories, most of which look like real old books. Directors Fell and Robert Stevenhagen use every possible technique to get their point across by going back to scene two for the sequel and showing the writing on the prison walls as a silent film and another. There is also the depth of field in the “Tale of Despereaux” that evokes this art. This is probably the first cartoon you watch in a movie.
Unfortunately, “Despereaux” was also a 272-page book that was included in the 94-minute film, and some of the dead were rewritten. The sub-plot involving the princess and the prisoner seems to have been discarded, and many of Roscuro’s stories tend to shift their support too quickly, as if some scenes were edited out. It should also be noted that despite the G classification, complex and dark stories (including many people riding around like car seats) would be better for older children than the setting in kindergarten.
By the way, good fiction makes the night light better. “The Tale of Despereaux” may not be a classic, but it still has many classes.
