Well… I’m in the backlog, so today’s Alice in Wonderland paper doll came as a shock to me. I didn’t think I could finish it, but I’m glad I did.

Alice in Wonderland themed paper doll sets I have drawn before. In total I made three paper dolls that I posted.

Today’s Alice in Wonderland paper doll uses Margot, which is a bit neglected. Her clothing owes so much to Neo-Victorian and Lolita styles that they could be considered the same thing… but that’s a whole different discussion.

I really enjoyed putting together the rabbit pattern and card pattern for both skirts. I tried to draw a more realistic top hat than before, but I wasn’t happy with it. I think it’s a matter of perspective. However, I will eventually get over my issues with the hat. I’ll have to keep trying, so hope to see more hats and complain about more hats in me.

Not to mention the fact that Alice lacks agency in general, and most of the jokes don’t really resonate with modern life (how many of us had to go to school? I mean…really?).
