I recommend printing the grid on stock paper instead of plain paper. I tried it both ways and the regular paper was too thin.

If you’re printing on white cardstock like I have, take a little time to get creative and color or decorate the shape before assembling it! This would make a great math art project!

If your students are older, label the different parts of the shape (face, edge, base) before assembling to use as a reference throughout their shape study! 🙂

Then, carefully fold each strip so that it is applied with shape glue and fold each side of the shape.

Finally, glue each side. I recommend adding a small amount of glue to each tab and holding for a few seconds before adding the next tab. This will help ensure it stays together.
