Once you have selected the 3D snowflake file, select Open. Make sure it has a green box around it and select Upload (bottom right corner). Your most recent uploads will appear on the far left. Click the image until a green box appears around it, then click the Add to Canvas button (bottom right).
Now that the snowflakes panel is on the canvas, you’ll need to stretch the canvas to see the six panels. You can do this by clicking the (-100%+) button in the lower left corner. Choose minus until you get out far enough to see all the snowflakes. Size (50%) is usually good for showing everything.
Panels will be grouped when brought into Cricut Design Space. The first step is to group them. Click the UnGroup button at the top right of the Layers panel. You now have access to every single snowflake.
At this point we need to convert all the black lines into lines. While working in the Layers panel, hold down the Command key (Mac) or Control key (PC) and then select all the black lines. With all the black lines, select the Operations drop-down menu (located in the upper left menu). Now change the Basic Trim setting to Score. You can see that all the solid black lines have changed to dashed lines.

To connect the notch lines on the snowflake panels, we need to connect the notch lines and the snowflakes together. To do this, click and drag the mouse over each snowflake to select both the snowflake and the marker. Then select Snap To at the bottom of the Layers panel. Repeat this process for each of the six snowflakes.
There are three small snowflakes and three large ones. Working from left to right, the second, third, and sixth snowflakes are larger. We will need to cut four panels for each large snowflake. The first, fourth and fifth panels are small snowflakes. For small snowflakes, you will need to cut three panels.
To do this, I recommend choosing Hide Large Snowflakes before hiding them. Select the large snowflakes in the Layers panel and hide them. You can hide them by clicking on the eyes in the Layers panel with your mouse. Select the eye that is next to the panel you want to hide. At this point, the eye will show a line and the panel will disappear from your canvas. Hide all three large snowflakes. Then select Create.
You will now see three small snowflakes, each on their own canvas in the ready menu. Since we need three panels for each small snowflake, select 3 under Project Copies at the top, then select Apply. There will now be nine pads in total in the crafting menu (3 for each of the snowflakes). If everything looks correct, select Continue (bottom right corner).
