16 Wishes Wish List – Abigail Louise “Abby” Jensen (Debbie Ryan) has been planning her sweet 16 since she was little. On his bedroom door, he keeps a list of secret wishes he wants to fulfill. When Abby reaches into Jay’s backpack, she finds a birthday present from Jay. This is a half heart necklace with “BFF” written on it. Jay had the other half which he used as a decoration on his key ring. As Jay and Abby walk to their parking lot, a delivery truck pulls up and Celeste gets out dressed as a mailwoman and hands Abby a package. When Abby opens it, she finds 16 candles and a box. Not wanting to drive to school, Abby turns on the headlights and makes a wish for a new car, the eighth wish on her list. However, his first wish was granted, to meet Joey Lockhart (Joel Semande), the most popular. Abby then realized that the candles corresponded to her 16 wishes on her list and each one would be fulfilled each time the candles were lit.

Later, Celeste says that after midnight all wishes will disappear. Abby seeks Celeste’s help, but she can’t help her. Celeste then explains that magic has many rules and one of them is that a wish cannot be undone. In the end, Abby finds a hole in the rules, it turns out that her last wish is a picture of her thigh stuck in the trash, as if there is a “barrier” between the picture and the rules. He replaces the picture with a picture taken that morning and wants to go back that morning.

Abby’s life returns to normal, with a few deaths in the process. Abby throws out her wish list and gives Mike his money, saying he needs a REAL guitar. Abby walks out to see Krista putting up “Vote for Krista” signs. She and Krista reconcile after Krista tells Abby why she hates her (After 3rd grade, Abby and Jay make a pact to be best friends, leave to Krista, since Krista and Jay are best friends). Abby and Krista stop competing and work together to become student body president: Jay. Then at Abby and Krista’s sweet sixteen party, Krista and Logan become a couple, while Mike’s talent is revealed when he sings at Abby and Krista’s party. When Jay asks about Abby’s wish list, Abby tells him everything she wants. Abby and Jay then kiss. Celeste is dressed as a nurse, then turns into a fairy and flies away to finish her job. The couple – Abby and Jay along with Krista and Logan – then dance together at the party. Gaffes appear at the end of the movie and we also see Abby singing at the party while dancing with Jay and Celeste.
