Printable Comic Template – If you are an adult, you must have felt a sense of interest in comics as a child. Comics become part of life’s journey from childhood to adulthood. Many stories are presented in the comics. Men usually like comics with adventure stories, while women usually like stories that involve a lot of emotions. Therefore, to start a comic, you can look for ideas for a story. This will be the main attraction of the comic. Next, design the layout of the panels and start drawing. It sounds easy to do, but you need the formula to organize each part of the comic so that it is interesting to read.
Panels are layouts contained within a balloon. The distribution of the panels in the comic is intended to ensure that the images made with each panel have a good size to be seen. Therefore, the ideal number of panels on a comic page is usually 5-9 panels. The more panels you create, the smaller and harder the image is to see. Then adjust the story on each page using the ideal number of panels.

To create a comic book layout, you need to know what a storyboard is. In the storyboard, you make an estimate of the size of the image you want to draw in the layout of the cartoon. Storyboards usually use drawing paper and you will draw them using a pencil as a sketch. After you finish the storyboard, you can create a layout size that matches the size of your drawing. Layouts can be created with many cartoon drawing applications, such as the Adobe Illustrator application. In this application, the storyboard will be cropped to divide it into panels. The process is not as difficult as a copy-paste technique.

To create layouts, the Internet offers templates that you can easily download. Usually the supplied templates are 1 page containing the number and arrangement of the panels which are different. Obviously, the comic book layout template on the web does not yet contain images. You can use the layout as a support for drawing exercises, or you can create the layout templates as a storyboard sheet. Because it will be easier later in the conversion process in Adobe Illustrator. For sites that provide it for free, it will provide free model description information.

I started making these cartoon layout templates and immediately my kids got together and gave me their input and started asking me to print a copy. After printing them a few blank comic pages they started creating and were busy for over half an hour. These comic panels are a great free resource for teachers and students at home to help promote creative writing in the classroom, but also just to get some peace of mind without resorting to screens. For best results, save the image to your computer before printing. I find it easier to first click on the image to enlarge it, then drag and drop the image onto the desktop and then print it from there.
I am often asked which card I recommend. For regular copy paper, this 5-ream paper box is one of the best deals. For cardstock, I really like this card on amazon. It’s a lot cheaper than what I’ve found in stores, and it’s a good thickness for most projects without being thick enough to jam the printer.

Writing comes pretty easily to me as an adult. But trying to teach my kids to write is a whole other story. Writing is such a personal task. Whether you are an adult or a child, it takes a lot of courage to challenge yourself with words written on a page.
So if we’re going to put all this in, it’s got to be fun, right? I have my own little arsenal of ways we make writing fun in our home. Printables like these comic book templates are a great addition to blank books like these. They’re kind of a sophisticated and long-lasting version of a sketchbook! We use rubber concrete and glue the cartoon templates right inside.
My kids love working this way because it relieves the stress of “ruining” a page in their special book. They work on their page and only insert it into their book when they are satisfied!
I created these printable cartoon templates to accompany the idea of teaching the sequence in writing. I have a son in particular who is very spatially oriented. Seeing his card divided into spaces allows him to elaborate on the order of his story or his indications.
