While I’m glad I upgraded my camera and cleaned up my printable Frozen Party designs, I still think creating a Frozen Eggo Waffle Party is a pretty cool idea.
Think. It’s super easy, inexpensive and with yogurt and fruit on top… it’s also a super healthy treat.
I like a big party, but sometimes it’s nice to play low. You don’t have to spend thousands of dollars and spend hours in the kitchen letting the kids have fun.

I made delicious AND healthy egg waffles with vanilla yogurt, strawberries, blueberries, and my homemade chocolate granola. They take about 10 minutes to make, are cheap, and kids love them. They were devoured in minutes and my piglets only had seconds.
And I think she’s pregnant with my little one… Ironically right now, I’m crying because I’m not going to let her eat Eggo Waffles a second time today.

Just like every other little girl in the world, this year my Ada unexpectedly threw a Frozen birthday party.
For decoration, I used those cheap plastic tablecloths to give the kitchen a “winter white” look and to cover my dark wood cabinets and not to mention the cleanup is easy with these our party goers.
I hung plastic stone pillars from the bottom of the cupboard below (found at Hobby Lobby… thank goodness they got their Christmas stuff in August! And it’s 50% off too! WhaaHooo! ).
How To Throw A Fabulous And Frugal Diy Frozen Birthday Party
And he used large snowflake stickers to hold everything together (also found in Hobby Lobby, I’m pretty sure they’re really window decals, but whatever).
And I had snowflake cupcake wrappers, but they were too big and my cupcakes fell right through them. Make a mental note to check before the next party.
You want to build a huge snowman. one large and two mini marshmallows, pretzels, m&m (brown, regular size), chocolate chips (mini) and orange Mike & Ike for noses for our little partygoers to have You can make your own delicious snowman at home
I bought a box (cinema size, found in the candy section of the grocery store) from Mike & Ikes and made 20 favor bags and still had plenty of oranges in the box to buy more.
Disney Frozen Crafts & Fun Food Ideas
We are going to Disney this year and I want my daughter to be able to dress up as princesses without having to wear expensive but cheap polyester princess outfits. So I had a great idea to make Ada’s Elsa costume with a separate shirt and skirt. The shirt is comfortable cotton, short-sleeved so it doesn’t get hot outdoors in Florida, and the cape is removable (with Velcro). You can wear a flowing dress for the party and Halloween, but wear a mini skirt and comfortable leggings for Disney.
And this site has 2 cute free downloads for Elsa and Anna crowns in their Frozen Party post found HERE
And here’s also an Elsa tiara and a simple Sven velvet pattern that they traced on handmade foam and cut out. EASY AS PIE!
For the ones that I used, I took “blue” and “opal” glitter glue and traced the edges of the Ada crown to make it sparkle and fancier so it didn’t look too flat.

It’s easier to tie crowns and gauze instead of cutting and gluing strips of paper as seen in some places. I just punched a hole in both edges of the wreath and pulled a long piece of tulle through them like this:
I get small rolls of tulle that you can buy at any craft store and in Walmart’s craft section.
Made with lotion, baking soda and lots of glitter my sweet Miss May helped me create.
“Snow” is really cool because it’s cold to the touch, moldable and totally fun!

When they’re done, I put the snow powder directly into clear goodie bags (offer bags) tied with a piece of tulle so they can take it home.
I even printed a small label and stuck it on the outside of the bag so my parents would know what was inside.
Frozen “Snow Powder” labels can be printed for free HERE (I used these clear address labels from Avery). It actually looked like I had specially printed bags, but nope, just clear labels!
I found a picture of Olaf and used it to paint a larger version on canvas (Ikea easel and scroll)

To go with “Frozen” we had an ice cream topping bar, because frozen what could be better than ice cream?
M&M’s, mini chocolate chips, gummy bears, Reeses pieces, Heath Bar toppings (included in chocolate chip baking), Mike & Ikes, Snowcaps, chocolate chips, rainbow sprinkles, chopped peanuts, chocolate syrup cola, caramel syrup, Magic Shell and, of course, maraschino cherries.
