Easy Drawing Of Rose Flower – I’ve been playing around with drawing roses and trying to come up with an easy way to do it for anyone who wants to do it. I finished this tutorial. Give it a try. It may take some practice, but if you keep at it, you’ll soon have sketches of roses all over your house (trust me, I know).
I made this quick poster to show you how to do it right now, and then if you want more details, scroll down. You can see that I used different colors for each step. Pink/red was the first color: the first row as would be done in each step, the purple the next, and the blue the last, light green which was removed at the end of the step. Beyond that, visualize the petals as in step 1 and place them together to form a flower. Whether you’re looking from the side or from above, it’s all about putting the petals together.

For the three roses I drew below, I used Macro Refine colored pencils for my birthday. They were different from the Prismacolors I like and use all the time, but are a decent cheap option for someone looking to color with pencil. I also used Strathmore Bristol paper, 11 x 14 inches for this drawing.
How To Draw A Rose: A Beginning Artist’s Guide
I drew three roses, the first facing the viewer, the second slightly to the side and the last facing halfway away from the viewer.
Start by drawing a small oval shape. This will be the center of the rose. Add a few lines for inside center and outside center. Then start adding petals.
Continue adding rose petals radiating from the center. When you think about it they are just slightly curved lines going around the circle.
Keep adding more and more petals as you go. I like to point some petals slightly towards the center.
How To Draw A Rose Step By Step
For the rose facing the viewer, just keep working in a circle and add 3 to 5 petals for each layer.
Try to make the flower look somewhat balanced. For the image on the right, I placed dots to indicate which petals were painted first.
For the second flower, start with a tube with a small opening like the picture on the left. Then modify the opening by adding some curved lines to indicate the petals.
Continue with that. To draw a petal that wraps around the center of the rose, start at the outer line in the middle and bring the line forward as in the image on the left. Next, you can add two lines extending from each end of the newly formed petal and draw a slightly curved line to indicate that the petal is slightly bent at the edge.

For a small opening, draw two curved lines from the back of the rose (left image). The lines should form a heart-like shape on the front of the rose. Then add some hints that the petals are bent and curved (photo at right).
Each time you draw a petal, add lines extending from the edge to the base of the rose (picture of the song). Add one more petal, this one face-up so the viewer can only see the curved part (photo at right).
Continue adding petals, now extending more outwards so they look open. Make sure they are “attached” (picked) to the base of the rose.
As a final step, add a few more petals around, including one that curves outwards. As you can see in the picture, that petal covers part of the base.

Don’t forget to draw a stem and some leaves for the second rose. It’s time to start the third rose. This time it’s facing away from the viewer, so I’ll start with a heart-shaped petal like the image above.
I added another petal facing outwards like the second flower, and a stem with some leaves.
I wanted the background to look like an open sky, so with light blue I drew some clouds. Then with the same light blue I colored in some shades of roses and leaves, a bunch of blue for the sky and background. All done in one color.
Next, I used black to darken the bottom of the page, where it’s not just the sky, but any background that might be there.

Next I used a darker pine green to add more dimension, and also added some detail to the leaves.
Using a light green color, I added more color to the leaves and stems and added more shadows to the white roses.
Since white is really a collection of different colors, I used some pinks, browns, and yellows to add shade to the rose. I used silver to shade the clouds a bit and added more blue to the sky and roses.
These are the colors I have used so far. The order I use is right to left. Every time I used a color in the image, I made sure it was used to darken the bottom of the image.

Next I used purple and a bit more blue for the sky and to darken the bottom area.
I used the five colors above to add the sky and rose. I used the white pen liberally on the white parts of the flowers and clouds. I added more green to the leaves and stems.
Here’s the final result, I hope the colors are a little deeper, but I’ll try again next time:

How To Draw Rose
Roses are undoubtedly one of the most beautiful (and best smelling) flowers. We wanted to make it both simple and beautiful, to capture the essence of this flower. It has a bit more steps than our average guide, because we wanted to make them so clear and easy to follow, roses can look more challenging to look at (it’s not, I promise).
It was tested by several beginners, and they were all surprised and delighted at how beautiful their roses turned out (so we’re really happy with how we designed this tutorial).
Start your rose drawing by drawing an oval shape. It doesn’t have to be perfect, as nothing in nature is. However you paint it, your rose will look great.
Draw a small spiral inside the oval. The direction of the spiral is not important, nor is the number of turns.
Easy Rose Flower Drawing And Sketch
Draw a heart around the spiral – start at the top with the heart crack touching the oval shape. Again, don’t worry about the shape of the heart, the left and right sides don’t have to look the same.
Other parts of the heart do not need to touch the oval, but there is nothing wrong if they do.
Draw a line following the shape of the heart – start at the top and make a nice curved shape (like a very loose letter S). Make a pointed (V) shape. And bring it deep into the heart.
Create a similar shape on the other end of the heart, this time without the pointed tip, drawing the line so that it touches the previous shape.
