I used a floral sponge to paint the butterfly wings. I really like this new Petal Fusion sponge because it’s a little smaller than the Paint Pal Petal sponge!
It is easier to snap and form a small triangle without having to go near the temple area.
Take care of the eyebrows! Adults usually have longer eyebrows and you may be tempted to cover the entire eyelid and eyebrow area completely. However, it is more important to follow the corner of the eye – the nostril line (this is the line that Annabel also uses in her Fancy Eye Design tutorial).
As such, you can end up with parts of the eyebrows that are not yet hidden, but the placement of the wings will increase and open the eyes, creating an elegant look that is even more important!

Using the same sponge, I created the bottom wing. And if the head is triangular, with a little depth above the eyebrows, then at the bottom we need a flower shape.
Tip: Be sure to attach the upper and lower wings to the outer corners of the eyes, leaving a V between them.
Highlight our wings now! We will do it technically only once. I used an angled brush to outline the upper wing in three parts.
The second part had to go a little deeper to add more depth that we had already created with a sponge.
Rainbow Butterfly Face Painting
