For custom orders for new designs, a $25.00 design fee is required before any work can begin. Full payment is required upon acceptance of the plan and price offer. At that point, I will create a secret list where you can purchase the item. I will develop your design based on a detailed conversation or message with you about the type of piece you want, including subject and style (human, animal, landscape, floral, geometric, etc.), size and where you plan to exhibit. that, and the shape and color of the glass you like. I can also draw from photos or pictures. I will send you pictures of the glass colors and the colors you can choose from. The turnaround time depends on the size of the piece and the desired type of glass, but will be stated together with the model and price.
Hanging tips: The rectangular panels should be hung from TWO separate chains so that they stand in the frame. This will prevent the frame from being damaged over time.
Cup hangers should only be used for pieces weighing less than one pound. For a stronger bond to the window, wipe a VERY thin film of cooking oil on the inside of the absorbent cup before placing it on the window. Oil will not evaporate.
It is normal for the solder and the frame to fade/corrode over time. You can choose to let it age naturally, or you can clean/paint it with plastic wrap. Car wax also works well.

Please note that because no two pieces of glass are alike and availability may vary, there may be slight variations from the images shown, but every effort will be made to replicate or match the original as closely as possible. If I need to make a major change to the type and/or color of glass used in the piece, I will let you know and provide photos of the new glass before I make it, so you can choose to cancel the order and get a refund if you are not satisfied with the new glass option.
I do my best to reproduce the correct colors in the images in each listing. However, due to the nature of the photographic glasses, the differences in the glasses with different lighting and the difference in different computer monitors, the actual colors may look slightly different in your home than shown in my store photos. But I think you’ll find that everything will look BETTER in person than in the pictures! (At least that’s what my customers have told me).
I send everything in very well-packaged packages, but every now and then Posten still manages to cause damage during delivery.

If your item arrives damaged, I require that you notify me via Etsy message within 5 calendar days of receipt (as indicated by USPS tracking) and include photos of the damaged item and packaging. Please keep all original packaging. You must send a damage claim to the post office as they may want to see the damaged item. I will continue to work with you until the damage issue is resolved.
