When our elf arrives, I like to ask him to bring a little gift for the kids. If our elf comes before December 1st, I have him bring Christmas pajamas. If our elf arrives on December 1st, I ask him to bring the children’s advent calendars. When you have your elf on the shelf, it’s all up to you.
You can also make your leprechaun come with just the letter, how you make it come is up to you.

Elf on the Shelf season is upon us, which means it’s time to start planning! Every year I print out an elf calendar and checklist to keep organized. They were a great lifesaver!
I can’t believe the holidays are almost here, which means it’s time to welcome our elves! And what better way to do that than with a cute elf arrival letter. It’s a fun way to kick off the season and introduce kids to their beloved elf.
Our elf doesn’t come until December 1st, but I know some elf families come the day after Thanksgiving.
