Police Reports Durham Nc – A shooting at the South Point Mall in Durham, North Carolina on Friday left three people injured and three others injured.

The shooters included a 10-year-old boy who was wounded by a ricochet, the Durham Police Department said. The police did not disclose how the other three were injured, but said that they were not injured by gunshots.

All six people were treated for injuries that were not considered life-threatening, Durham Police Chief Peters Andrews said at a news conference Friday.

One person was taken into custody, but police have not released further details on whether the man faces any charges in connection with the shooting.

He added that the shooting was “between two groups who knew each other” and that they “were not firing indiscriminately.”

About an hour later, the police department tweeted that the building was being evacuated and that there was “no danger to the mall.”

In a written statement, Brookfield Properties, which owns The Streets at South Pointe, thanked the police department and said the company was focused on the well-being of those affected by the shooting.

“The Streets at South Point is a destination for communities to come together,” the company said. “We are saddened and outraged that we were the site of such a senseless act of violence between a group of people.”

WRAL reporter Aaron Thomas was shopping at the mall when he tweeted that he saw “a lot of people running.”

Section C is where the contact information of everyone involved in the disaster is recorded in case you need to follow up. Page 1 of the North Carolina accident report ends with a space for authorities to record the details of any EMS professionals who responded to the scene of the accident.

Section D is for the police officer to give his opinion on how the accident happened. As an impartial and experienced law enforcement agent on the scene, the officer’s observations and conclusions are taken seriously. The officer tells them how they think things are going, who might be speeding, and who might be ignoring a traffic signal. Witnesses are listed at the bottom of page two of the police report.

Section E, meanwhile, is for the officer to recreate an auto accident through some kind of diagram. Together, Section D and Section E can clarify the other party’s negligence—or they can raise questions about your own possible negligence.

These two parts aren’t necessarily the be all and end all of a case, but knowing how to read your accident report and verify the details is definitely something you want to be comfortable with following your accident.
